The shipping window is not populating the address details properly in BUSY. How can I enter the correct shipping address?
If you want to generate invoices with specific billing and shipping address combinations in BUSY, follow these steps.
Step 1. Go to the Administration select Configuration, and click on Voucher Series Configuration.
Step 2. Choose the Voucher Type click on the Series and then select Voucher Configuration.
Step 3. Enable Separate Billing/Shipping Details by pressing 'Y' and save the page.
Step 4. Add an invoice in the series for which you enabled Billing/Shipping Details.
Step 5. After selecting the party a Billing/Shipping Details pop-up window will appear. Enter your shipping details in that window.
Step 6. This will allow you to generate invoices with specific Billing and Shipping details.
I made some mistakes in my initial GST voucher entries. How can I correct or delete those vouchers?
If you have made mistakes in your GST voucher then your can modify or delete them. But if the GST return filed then it will not upload on portal through BUSY.
To modify or delete them follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Transaction menu and choose the voucher type that you want to modify or delete, such as Sales, Purchase, etc.
Step 2: Click on Modify and open the voucher that you want to change or remove.
Step 3: Make the necessary changes and save them again.
Step 4: To delete the voucher, click on Delete button or press F8 after opening it.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.
I want to create a new sale invoice in BUSY. What are the steps I need to follow?
To create a new sale invoice in BUSY, you follow the below setps:
Step 1: Go to Transactions; in Transactions, select Sale or Supply Outward.
Step 2: Select the Add option and fill in the necessary details, such as sales series, invoice date, invoice number, sales type (single tax rate, multi-rate, tax inclusive), itemwise as required, etc.
Step 3: Select the items that are being sold and enter the quantity and rate.
Step 4: Verify the calculations and make any necessary adjustments.
Step 5: Save the sale or supply-outward entry.
Step 6: The new sale invoice will now be recorded in the system.
How do I enter credit/debit notes in BUSY?
To enter credit or debit notes in BUSY, follow these steps:
For credit or debit note with item:
Step 1: Open your company and then go to Transaction.
Step 2: Select Purchase Return (Dr. Note) or Sale Return (Cr. Note) as per the requirements.
Step 3: Click on add option and choose the series and enter the necessary details such as voucher date, party name, item details etc.
For credit or debit note without item:
Step 1: Open your company and then go to Transaction.
Step 2: Select Dr. Note (w/o Items) or Cr. Note (w/o Items) as per the requirements.
Step 3: Click on add options and choose the series, voucher date and pass accounting entry.
How can I ensure sales discounts provided to customers are shown separately as an expense in profit and loss rather than adjusting sales downward?
To ensure sales discounts provided to customers are shown separately as an expense in profit and loss rather than adjusting sales downward,please folllow below steps :
Step 1 : Check the Your Invoice , discount is appied or not .
Step 2: Check the if item wise discount is applied on each item of the invoice
Step 3: Check the Discount bill sundry configuration
Step 4 : Check the Bill sundry sales account tagging account
Step 4 : Go to standard invoice configuration
Step 5: select the Discount amgt column from body settings and save
Step 6 : Check the invoice print preview
How do I find and enter missing HSN codes for my sales and purchase entries?

Step 3 : Then go to supply inward report and open report hsn code wise further you can add
custom column for hsn to find out hsn item wise same process for supply outward register and open those voucher and define hsn in item in which hsn showing blank

I am unable to match my sales and purchase accounts. How can I resolve this?

2. Double-check the accounting terms like vouchers, purchase/sale parties, etc., to make sure you are using them correctly.
3. Verify that you have correctly entered the sales and purchase amounts in the respective accounts.
4. Reconcile the sales and purchase entries by comparing them with the corresponding invoices and bills.
5. If you still cannot match the accounts, consider seeking assistance from BUSY customer support for further troubleshooting and guidance.
Can I pass the entry through the purchase voucher to show expenses such as cleaning Expenses?
Yes you can pass entry through the purchase voucher to show expenses such as cleaning expenses by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu
Step 2: Then click on masters option
Step 3: Then click on item and then click on add button
Step 4: Specify the name of expense such as cleaning expense
Step 5: Specify the group name as general and unit as NA
Step 6: Then you can specify the tax category and hsn code and other details as required
Step 7: Afterwards go to specify purchase account option available at the bottom left
Step 8: Then select it as specify here
Step 9: Then select the expense account and save the master
Why can't I generate invoices or export reports in BUSY?
If you are unable to generate Invoice and report from BUSY then follow the steps
Step 1. Open Company with super user
Step 2. Then Go to Administration menu and select the users option.
Step 3. Under the users option click on the modify button.
Step 4. Then choose the subuser who does not have permission to generate invoices
or reports.
Step 5. Then Enable the right according to your need and click the save button to
save the user rights settings.
Step 6. Now Close the company and Reopen it with the subuser then verify the acess to
generate invoices and reports in the BUSY.
Can you help me in creating zero-rated bill in BUSY?
Yes, you can create zero rated bill in BUSY by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on masters submenu
Step 2: Click on item and open the master from modify or list
Step 3: Then select tax category as zero rated and save the item master
Step 4: Go to transactions menu then click on voucher such as sale,purchase etc
Step 5: After that click on add button to create a new voucher after that select required fields such as series,date,voucher number and make sure to select sale or purchase type as zero rated,item wise or tax inclusive as required
Step 6: Then proceed to generate a invoice.
