For restoring backup follow the below steps
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- Restore data
Step 3:- Mention path for restoration
Step 4:- Click ok
If same company already exits in list of company then it will ask for rewrite backup data on existing data. Select as per need (Yes or No)
The software is not allowing me to select a company file. How do I resolve this issue?
To resolve the issue of not being able to select a company file in the software, you can try the following steps:
1. Make sure that the company file is located in the correct folder or directory.
2. Check if the company file is not locked or being used by another user or process.
3. Restart the software and try selecting the company file again.
4. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the software and then selecting the company file.
5. If none of the above steps work, contact the customer support of the software for further assistance.
How can I restore my backup in BUSY v since the backup process has changed from v?
There is no change in the backup process in BUSY from version BUSY 17 to BUSY 21.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Data Restore :
Step 1: Click on Company Menu
Step 2: Then Restore Data
Step 3: Specify the backup folder path in which have backup files of the data and restore it with Overwrite NO. Overwrite option will only show if we have data in BUSY with the same company. After overwrite new company will get create instead of overwriting the existing company.
Note : We Always recommend backup before any changes in BUSY.

Before making any changes in Data it is always recommended to keep backup of your data as sometime changes done in BUSY can not be revert back. If you have backup of your data you can restore it. To restore backup data in BUSY follow below process:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.

I am unable to import last year's data into the new version of BUSY. What should I do?
If you are unable to import last year data in current year then follow the given steps
Step 1 First take backup of data
Step 2 Open the company and go on administration menu
Step 3 Click on change financial year and click on previous year data and open it
Step 4 After switch the financial year click again on change financial year
Step 5 Then select current financial year and click on YES to carry all the balances
Step 6 Click on all master and change financial year
Step 7 Check data after change the financial year
What's the process to restore backup data from a pen drive to BUSY?
To restore backup data from a pen drive to BUSY you can follow these steps
Step 1: Connect the pendrive to your system.
Step 2: Then paste the backup data from the pendrive to your local drive in your system.
Step 3: Open BUSY.
Step 4: Go to restore data then browse the path of backup folder then select the backup folder then proceed to restore backup.
Step 5: Press ok to restore backup.
Step 6: Then after restore backup you can open the company in company menu to check the data.
How do I backup data before an agent works on my BUSY?
There are multiple options available for backing up your BUSY data.
Step 1 : You can use the BUSY Agent tool to take automatic backups on a daily basis.
Step 2 : Additionally, you can manually take backups of your data and save it to a local system or cloud storage like Google Drive.
As for the frequency of backups, it is recommended to take backups regularly to ensure the safety of your data. It is advisable to take backups on a daily basis or at least on a weekly basis, depending on the volume and importance of your data.
My data got corrupted, how can I restore a backup in BUSY?
You can restore your Backup by following mentioned steps:
Step 1: Check the latest Backup where you have saved it.
Step 2: Open BUSY.
Step 3: In list select the Restore Data option.
Step 4: Then define the backup folder path.
Step 5: Select Ok.
Step 6: Then it will ask the confirmation to restore it.
Step 7: As if you want to overwrite it then select yes when it ask ,or if you want to create another company then select No, So it will create another company with same name and shows date of restore with name.
