Backup Data: To take backup of your data from BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Backup Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.

We can restore the data from backup files. 
 Pls Follow the Below Steps for Data Restore Process :
 Step 1: Click on Company Menu
 Step 2: Then Restore data
 Step 3: Specify the backup folder path in which have backup files of the data and restore it with Overwrite NO. Overwrite option will only show if we have data in BUSY with the same company. After overwrite new company will get create instead of overwriting the existing company.

To take backup of 2023-24 financial year from BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on Backup Data under the Company menu.
Step 2: Select the company of which you want to take backup and enter the username and password. (If Require)
Step 3: Specify the backup path where you want to take backup and select financial year 2023-24 instead of All Financial year.
Step 4: Press Ok to start the process and check after complete it.

To take a backup of your data, follow these steps:

To restore a backup of one year in BUSY Accounting software, follow these steps.
Step 1: Click on Company Menu and submenu Restore data
Step 2: Specify the backup folder path in which have taken backup files of the data and restore it with Overwrite NO option. Overwrite option will show only if we have data in BUSY with the same company name.After the overwrite No option chas clicked the new company will get create instead of overwriting the existing company.

There are various ways for verifying the BUSY backup has been done successfully or not. 
 Pls Follow the Below Steps :
 Step 1:We can check the backup success log in BUSY agent log details for the companies whose backup has been successfully done. 
 Step 2: In BUSY Agent can set notification for the backup in your email id or in BUSYbns app by mentioning the mobile number.
 Step 3:We can also check the BUSY backup folder manually.

The "BUSYwin/Data" folder in the drive where BUSY is installed is the default location for your data. To change it follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the "Set Data Directory" option. Choose the new location where you want to store your data and click OK.
Step 2: Copy all your data files from the old folder and paste them into the new folder that you have selected.
Step 3: You can now use BUSY with the new data location.

To take backup and rewrite data in BUSY, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY icon then click on company menu.
Step 2: Choose backup data then select required company and enter the company admin login credentials.
Step 3: Now, Specify path for backup then click on ok tab.
Step 4: Next, login the company then go to housekeeping section and click on rewrite data.
Step 5: Click on you can proceed as i have the latest backup then select ok tab.
