If the data for the current financial year was deleted in BUSY, unfortunately, there is no option to restore it. In this case, you should restore the latest backup of your data or manually re-enter the entries for the current financial year.

To restore data  in BUSY please follow below steps: 
Step 1: Go to Company Menu 
Step 2: Select Restore data option
Step 3: And Select the backup path for data Restoration
Step 4: Mention the User and Password 
Step 5: Start the process. 

You made some bills in BUSY but now the data got deleted , there is no any provision to recover that if you have taken the data backup before the deletion date then you can restore that backup in BUSY .

Yes, you can keep a backup of the data before deleting it from a company in BUSY Accounting software. To take a backup, select the Backup Data option from the Company tab and choose the company that you want to backup.

When you backup your data from BUSY, it is converted into compressed files such as DATA and DISK1. These files have a smaller size than the original data, but they contain all the information. No files are missing in the backup.

If your data is missing you can restore your data from your backup,it will be difficult to get your data again if you dont have its backup so we recommend you to take the backup of your data on daily basis

If your main system is down then you can restore the backup in other system 
using the following steps 
1 open BUSY and click on restore data
2 click on the folder and select the data path then click ok to restore

If you have configured the backup configuration in BUSY, you can view the backup folder from Administration, then select Configuration, then select Backup Configuration. In this window, you can view the backup folder that you defined to take your daily backup.

BUSY does not have a specific data storage period; it remains in existence as long as the company file exists in the designated data directory without corruption. To secure your data,it is recommended to take data backup on regular basis.

The backup file will restore data which entered before taking the backup. If you post any entry after the backup process then these entries will not exist in backup file further you need to take backup of latest data again.
