BUSY does not have a specific data storage period; it remains in existence as long as the company file exists in the designated data directory without corruption. To secure your data,it is recommended to take data backup on regular basis.

We can send backup file without zip through email easily but for company folder file it will not get send due to heavy data size so we can send it by creating link from third party application like we transfer.

To take a backup of my main data on the computer's hard disk, please follow the below steps:
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- backup data
Step 3:- Mention path for backup .
Step 4:- Click ok and start the process. 

When you restore your data into the BUSY in new laptop, it shows all the data which contains in the backup file. If not showing then might be you have not taken the latest backup from the old system

To access the backup data for my company in BUSY,Please Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Go to company menu 
Step 2: Click on Restore datab 
Step 3: Here select the backup file path and restore the backup files 

You can take backup on the local drive as many times as you want.
From BUSY agent by default you can take backup maximum 3 times.
From BUSY agent through backup now you can take backup many times as you want.

To find the backup file of your data in BUSY , you can follow below steps:
Step 1: Close the company.
Step 2: Go in backup data option.
Step 3: Then check the specified path where the backup file was saved before.

The BUSYwin/Data folder in the drive where BUSY is installed is the default location for your data. Furthermore to check the data location from where your BUSY data is running, click on Set Data Directory under the company menu.

Yes, you can restore a deleted invoice if you have any latest backup of your data as ,It is always suggested to take a backup before making any changes, and after that, the backup can be restored if needed.

BUSY allows you to export your data different formats such as Excel, PDF, CSV, or XML. So if want to migrate it in any other software then you need concern with them as how to import that data.
