How often should I back up my BUSY data?
It is recommended to back up your BUSY data regularly. Furthermore can use BUSY Agent to take auto backup on your Local Drive & Google Drive.
BUSY is asking me to take a backup/update on closing company. Can I skip this for now?
You can skip taking backup if the prompt for taking backup is showing to select yes and no , otherwise it is mandatory to take backup.
How can I edit the account number in the backup file?
You can not edit account number in the backup files . You can change account number in the company then can take backup other .
Can I restore a backup for one branch separately if needed?
Yes, If you created a seperate company for a branch, then you can take a backup of that branch and also can restore it separately.
How can I overwrite previously restored data in BUSY?
If the same data already exists in BUSY, you will be prompted to overwrite it when restoring data. You can choose to overwrite or not.
Is GST data backed up securely by your software?
Yes data backup took by BUSY software is securely taken and will take all the data of your company including GST accounting and inventory informations.
Can I restore a backup for one branch separately?
Yes, If you created a seperate company for a branch, then you can take a backup of that branch and also can restore it separately.
How to take backup of companies in BUSY?
Please follow below mention steps for backup:-

Step 2:- Backup Data,
Step 3:- Select company define data path and then process for backup
Multiple files in BUSY v backup zip. Why?
In BUSY, Data Backup always be done in without zip. Take the backup data then can manually Zip it by right click on Backup Folder.
How often does the system backup data?
System doesn't take the backup of your data automatically , It's depend on the configuration which you have done for taking backup of your data
