If you are getting an error message when trying to perform a specific function then update BUSY with full setups
using the steps provided below
Step 1. Take backup of your data and copy data folder from your drive and paste in some other location.
Step 2. Then click on start button on your desktop then search control panel.
Step 3. Now Open control Panel then search Program and Feature option.
Step 4. Now Open Program and Feature option then uninstall all BUSY setups and patch files.
Step 5. After uninstallation delete the BUSYwin folder from its installation location.
Step 6. Now Open Google Chorme and type www.busy.in
Step 7. Then Click on Resources menu and click on download section.
Step 8. Download the current version of BUSY 21 9.5 then extract the setup from winrar applicaiton.
Step 9. Then run then current BUSY setup and install the setup in your computer.
Step 10. Now open your company and check the same.
We do not recommend reinstalling the old setup or rolling back your data. This process could potentially
corrupt your data.

If your company is not opening and showing error, you can follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: First take tha latest backup of your company.
Step 2: Go to Housekeeping menu and select the Reindex Databases option.
Step 3: Run the process and check the issue is resovle or not. If issue is not resolve, Remove the junk characters and Incomplete vouchers and try again.
Step 4: Ensure no any lockes file is created in COMP000x folder. If they are, delete all lockes files and check issue resolve or not.
Step 5: Run BUSY in administrator mode. Set compatibility, down UAC, change region setting UK and US, and give everyone rights to BUSY.
Step 6: Ensure you are using latest BUSY update. If not, Update your BUSY in latest version.
Step 7: If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assistance.
Note : Ensure you have latest backup before performing any housekeeping option in BUSY. and you have upgrade your BUSY in latest version. You should also take a daily backup to prevent any data loss.

Step 1: Exclusive Access: Make sure that the database is not already open exclusively by another user or application. Only one user
can open an Access database in exclusive mode at a time. If someone else has exclusive access, wait until they close it before
trying to access the database.
Step 2: Anti-virus/Firewall: Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software to see if they are causing the locking issue.
Sometimes, these security programs can interfere with database access.
Step 3: Restart the system to release the temporary lock on the Access database if any.
If the BUSY log file doesn't show enough information when there are errors, here's how to access more detailed logs:
Step 1: Open your company in the software. Then, press the keys Alt + Ctrl + Shift + Q. This will open the query log, which has more details about what's going wrong. You can filter it to see what you need.
Step 2: You can also press Alt + Ctrl + Shift + L to access the event log. This log shows a history of what's been happening in the software. You can filter it by dates to find the information you're looking for.
Step 3: Check in the folder where you installed BUSY software. There, you should find a file called QueryLog.txt This file contains detailed information about the software's actions and can help you understand errors.

If you are facing a problem where BUSY Software Crashed and Close while entering items in invoice then please follow the given steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Software
Step 2: Go to Comapny Menu
Step 3: Click on Backup data
Step 4: Select the company and then mention username and password
Step 5: Specify path for taking backup then select Single or All Financial year then click on Ok button, it will take few seconds to take backup
Step 6: After successful backup, Click on Open company
Step 7: Select the comapny and mention login username and password
Step 8: Go to Housekeeping Menu
Step 9: Click on Reinedex database
Step 10: You Can select the 2 option i.e You can proceed as i have latest backup then click on Ok Button
Step 11: you will get a popup window I.e Proceeding to reindex Database for the Company then Click on Ok Button
Step 12: you will get a confirmation message of Successful Reindex Database
