How do i create sales order in multi currency in BUSY?
To enable Multi currency feature and record sales order in multi currency, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company, then, go to the Administration tab and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab.
Step 3: Here, you will find the Multi Currency option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 4: Next, you need enable Multi Currency feature in the party master.
Step 5: Now, you can create sales order from the transaction menu with multi currency.
I am trying to create a purchase voucher bill by bill reference, but it is not getting accepted. What could be the reason?
If you are not able to create the bill by bill reference in the purchase voucher then follow the below steps.
Step 1: Make sure that bill by feature should be enable from the features and options and in the party master.
Step 2: In bill by bill reference window, select the new reference for creating .If showing adjustment its means that the reference is already created with the party in some other voucher. If showing append its means that the same voucher reference number is already created.
How do I create a General ledger for my main company location and Sub Ledger for additional locations in BUSY?
To create sub ledgers, first you need to enable that feature in BUSY by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Accounts Tab.
Step 3: Enable the feature called Maintain Sub Ledgers and save.
Step 4: Next, go back to Administration menu and click on Masters.
Step 5: Select Account then Add, and enter all the necessary details such as Name, Group, Address, etc.
Step 6: You need to mention the Ledger Type also either General Ledger or Sub Ledger.
Can we configure Salesman in BUSY?
Yes, we can configure it at Item Level or at Voucher Level.
Step 1: Administration

Step 4: Account
Step 5: Salesman/Broker Wise Reporting
Step 6: Salesman Configuration
Step 7: Select as per your need either at Item level or at voucher level & Comission Type.
Step 8: Create Salesman from Masters option.
Step 9: Transactions
Step10: During Voucher Entry, In case of Item Level - Salesman window will popup in each item & at Voucher Level - When we save the voucher then will ask for Salesman Name.
How do I forecast and budget in BUSY
We can forecast and define budget for any expenses in BUSY software
Please follow the given steps for configuration
Step 1) Go on administration
Step 2) Click on configuration
Step 3) Click on feature/options
Step 4) Click on accounts
Step 4) Enable budget option and save
Step 5) Go on Administration
Step 6) Click on accounts
Step 7) open expense account and define budget in the account master
Step 8) Go on display
Step 9) Click on MIS reports
Step 10) Click on Budget variance for reports
I want to record sample purchases from a vendor under a different name but link it to the same master vendor. How can I do this?
If you want to create the vendor name with different name and link with same master,Then you can maintain the sub ledger and tag in the main master.

Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Accounts
Step 5: Enable the sub ledger details option
Step 6: Create the seperate account as sub ledger then tag in the main ledger

I am not able to find the Maintain Sub Ledgers option in BUSY. Where is it located?
If you are unable to find Subledger option in BUSY then follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administartion menu
Step 2: Click on configuration
Step 3: Then click on Feature and option
Step 4: Then click on Accounts option
Step 5: Then enable Maintain subledger option
Step 6: Then go to Master option
Step 7: Then click on account master
Step 8: Then select master and open it in modify mode
Step 9: Here you can specify sub ledger in the respective field and save the master
How do I generate a UTR number for a bank transfer made in BUSY?
You can enter the UTR Number for bank transfer made in the bank instrument details during voucher entry. To enable Bank Instrument you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options then click on Accounts tab.
Step 3: Tick on the option called Maintain Bank Instrument Details and save.
Step 4: For Bank to Bank transfer entry you can record contra voucher from the transaction menu.
Step 5: In this voucher you can enter the Inst. Type and Inst. No.
I'm having problems reconciling my books of accounts. Can you help me with this?

Step 1: You need to enable the ledger reconciliation option from Go to Administration.
Step 2: then select Configuration, then select Features and Options, then select the account option.
Step 3: then enable the ledger reconciliation option, and then you can file the ledger reconciliation option when you check the ledger for account.

The bill reference feature is designed to maintain and track the outstanding of individual transactions associated with specific bills. To configure it follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then select configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select features and options and click on accounts tab.
Step 3: Here, at top you will see an option of bill by bill details. Just tick on that and configure it as required then save.
Step 4: In party's account master you also need to enable maintain bill by bill balancing feature.
