Can I generate PDCs (Postdated cheques) in BUSY Accounting Software? If yes, how can I do it?
If you want to enter post dated cheques and track them in BUSY , you can follow these steps:
Step 1: go to the Administration tab and click on configuration.
Step 2: Under Configurations, select Features / Options and then click on the Accounts tab. Here, you will find the Post Dated Cheques in Payment/Receipt Vouchers option. Just click on the checkbox to turn it on.
Step 3: Now, when you enter Payment/Receipt voucher, you can select Type as PDC and enter PDC Date.
I need help setting up the dashboard view in BUSY. How do I do this?
To set up User Dash Board in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to the Administration menu and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select User Dash Board Configuration and choose your User Name for which you want to configure it.
Step 3: Next, you need to enable or disable the specific details that you want to see on your dashboard when you log in to your company. You can do this by setting Y or N for each option.
How do I add a reference number to my credit/debit notes?
To add a reference number in credit/debit notes follow the below steps:
Step 1: Esnure to enable Bill by Bill reference option from Account features
Step 2: Then enable maintain bill by bill option as Y in the party master from administration menu
Step 3: Then while creating credit/debit note ( with item) voucher with neccessary details
Step 4: Then save the voucher, a bill reference window will appear on the screen
Step 5: Here you are maintain reference number of the voucher
I am having trouble with bill-to-bill transactions in BUSY. How can I get them to work properly?
To get the Bill by Bill transaction in BUSY properly follow the steps
1 go to transaction menu and click on configuration then click to feature
2 select account and enable Bill by Bill details
3 ensure that in all the party master maintain bill by bill option enabled
it will help to generate new refernce while create voucher
4 ensure that at the time of payment or receive voucher Bill by bill adjustment should be
adjusted properly along with original bill
How can I manage salesman in BUSY?
To use the salesman feature in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu and then click on Configuration option
Step 2: Select Features and options and click on Accounts tab.
Step 3: Then, enable salesman or broker wise reporting, define caption, voucher and commission type in configuration, and save the configuration of accounts tab.
Step 4: After that, add salesman master under administration and define rate of commission. While doing voucher entry, select salesman and save voucher.

To enable salesman option in BUSY then follow the steps given below :
Step 1: Go to Administration menu
Step 2: Click on Configuration option
Step 3: Then click on Feature and option
Step 4: Then click on Accounts feature
Step 5: Then tick on the salesman/broker wise reporting option
Step 6: Then click on configure box and configure it as per your requirement
Step 7: Then click on OK button

To correct issues with sales return data not getting captured properly in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1 : Go to the Administration Menu.
Step 2 : Select Configuration, then go to Features/Options, and click on Account Configuration.
Step 3 : Check if Posting through Sales Return & Purchase Return is enabled., If it's not enabled, turn it on.
Step 4 : After enabling it, run Regenerate Dual Voucher from the Housekeeping Menu for both Sales Return and Purchase Return vouchers.
How do I enter parties that have the same name but different branches and GST numbers in BUSY?
To enter multiple address and GST number for same party, you can use Multiple Aliases feature in BUSY, by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options then click on Accounts tab.
Step 3: Enable the option called Maintain Multiple Account Aliases and click on Configure then tick on the Different Address option.
Step 4: Now, in the party master you can click on Multiple Alias tab and can mention different address and GSTIN.

I received a payment from a customer that is less than their total outstanding balance. How do I account for the remaining balance owed?
If the customer paid the amount less than his total outstanding , so the remaining amount will be shows as outstanding amount in party ledger, you may enter payment voucher by using bill by bill refrence feature by following ways:
Step: 1 Enable bill by bill feature from account tab and then in party master.
Step: 2 Go to the transaction - payment - add
Step: 3 Do enter transction and in bill by bill refrence window select adjustment as method type.
