he inter-branch stock transfer is showing in the sale account, to change the account mapping so it doesn't show as a sale follow these steps 
1. open particular sales transaction for entered inter-branch stock transfer and change sales type
2. if you want to continue with same sales type then modify it , remove acount post tagging and sepcify another relevant account the save it .
3. after that resave voucher again.

Can previous year's closing balances be carried forward to the current year's opening balance in BUSY?

Yes, Previous year closing balance will reflect in opening of new year. For that you need to maintain
branch wise opening balance option in each account master in last year.
For this Follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open one account master, which opening is showing same in trial balance of all branches.
Step 2. Check option maintain branch wise opening. enable this option(Y)
So that branch wise closing can forward according to the branches entries.

How can I allow debit note creation in the branch office from the head office?

To enable the creation of debit notes in the branch office from the head office, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features/Options and click on Enterprise Features.
Step 3: Go to the Configuration tab of the HO BO Data Sync option.
Step 4: Choose the Branch Name and set yes to grant the right to the branch for creating debit note vouchers and then save the configuration.

How to create branch in existing company?

To create a new branch in existing company, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and then click on Enterprise Features tab.
Step 3: Enable Multi Branch Details feature and click on Branch Details.
Step 4: Click on Add Branch Master and enter your branch name and set Y which you want to create.
Step 5: Then enter branch info and save changes.

How to switch Head Office System?

To switch the Head Office System, follow these steps:
Step 1: Install BUSY on the Head Office System.
Step 2: Re register the Softlock License in the server system.
Step 3: Install SQL Server on the Head Office System.
Step 4: After installing SQL Server, restore the Head Office data in the new system.
Step 5: If the Head Office data runs from a different location, a static IP and the opening of port 1433 are required.

Can I force manual synchronization if auto-sync fails?

BUSY have 3 different options for auto sync which never fails to perform the sync but in any case if Auto Sync fails one can do synchronization Manually. In this one have to do manual sync which can't be forced in BUSY.
To do manual sync follow below Steps.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Click on Data Export Import
Step 3: Click on Exchange Data with HO
Step 4: Click on Required Sync option

I enabled the "Maintain branch wise balance" option but still both branch balances are showing up. What should I do?

To fix the branch balance display issue after enabling Maintain branch wise balance, you need to enable the HOBO feature, for this you need to follow the below steps: 
Step 1: Go to Configuration, then select Feature and Options, then select Enterprise Features, and select Yes.
Step 2: Then, ensure that the opening balances are maintained properly for each branch and that the branch-wise balances are equal to the opening balances.

I recently opened a new store/branch. When I try to transfer stock between this new branch and other branches, the store code/branch name is not showing in the party master. How can I fix this?

To fix the issue of the store code or branch name not showing in the party master when transferring stock between branches in BUSY, it is necessary to create an account master. This step is essential if you intend to include stock transfer entries in sale or purchase voucher types. Additionally, you can add a stock transfer voucher to transfer the stock from one material center to another material center.

Some items are being overwritten when I export data between branches. How can I prevent this from happening?

Some items are being overwritten when I export data between branches to prevent this from happening so make sure that if your make changes in item master name and then you sync data again so that time software consider that item as new item and sync to the other branches, so do not change item name if you change it then also change item name manually in other branches also.

I am unable to configure the POS. Could the issue be that HO-BO data sync is enabled?

The reason you might be unable to configure the POS could be due to the enabled HO-BO data sync. When this synchronization is active, you may not be able to proceed with the configuration process. Disabling HO-BO data sync temporarily during the POS configuration may help you resolve this issue. However, it is advisable to do it once the sync is completed successfully. Please do not interrupt it in between.
