unabled to entered Free Qty in voucher to entered need to enable free qty for that follow these steps
1. go to the configuration under administration menu
2. open features and options then click on inventory tab
3. enable free qty option and save configuration
4. then open invoice and qty column mentioned free qty after billed qty with mentioned (+) exmaple: 10+1 just like that.
How do I configure BUSY to work with my inventory system?
To configure inventory system in BUSY you need to follow the steps
Step1 Go to Administration and click configuration
Step2 Click on feature and then Inventory feature
Step3 Enable Multi godown inventory and tag stock account with material
centre
Step4 Create item master from master option under administration menu
Step5 to automatically maintain stock you can generate purchase sale

A different price in the details section than what I entered for an item,please follow the steps :
Step 1: Please check the entry details and modify the voucher entry
Step 2: Check the items pricing configuration .
Step 3: If the item pricing method set as a A to Z cateogory then the calculation shows as a A to Z cateogory of the item .
I need to create/modify the same item name but it won't allow me. What should I do?
To create/modify the Item in BUSY, Follow these steps :
Step 1: Go to Administration menu and then click on Masters
Step 2: Then click on Item master and three options will be displayed : Add,Modify and List.
Step 3: To create new master, click on add option.
Step 4: To modify the master, click on modify and to view generated list then click on list.
I am getting rounding errors when converting between units in BUSY. How can I avoid this?
If you are getting an rounding off error in the quantity then you can increase decimal places from the inventory tab to avoid it.
Pls follow the below steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Inventory
Step 5: Increase the quantity decimal places as per your requirement and save it.
Note : Do this process after the data backup.
Does auto-calculate Sale Price and update in item master for only sales invoice in BUSY?
Yes, We can auto calculate sale price from purchase price and get update in the Item Master.
Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Inventory
Step 5: Enable the Sale Price from Purchase Price.
Step 6: Either can update sale price after saving the voucher or can add it in item master for what basis sale price should get update.
What should I do if the option to add a new quotation transaction is not appearing even after logging in as a super user?
If the option to add a new quotation transaction is not appearing even after logging in as a super user,you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Click on administration then configuration
Step 2 : Features/Options go to inventory tab and enable purchase and sale quotation and click on save button.
Step 3 : Now go to transactions and add sale or purchase quotation voucher.

How do i check purchase price of item while creating sale bill in BUSY?
If you want to see purchase price of item during sale voucher entry, then you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on Inventory tab.
Step 3: Enable the feature called Show Last Transactions during Sales & Purchase and save changes.
Now, when you generate sale bill you will see item's purchase price.
