Find Solutions to Common Issues Related to final-results - trial balance
If all the account names in the trial balance appearing empty in BUSY then follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu and submenu trial balance submenu
Step 2: Then click on closing trial alphabetical option and then balance only option
Step 3: After that select all accounts and specify report date and make sure to select account to be shown by option as name and other feature as per your preference then press ok.
To see the final balance of all the debtors parties, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to display menu.
Step 2: Select trial balance then click on closing trial alphabetical and choose balances only option.
Step 3: Click on group of accounts then specify the group name as sundry debtors and enter the report date.
Step 4: Press ok to open the report and can view the final balance of debtors parties.
The process of checking the opening and closing balance of accounts is given below:
1: In menu go in display section.
2: Then select the option of trail balance.
3: Then select closing or opening trail as per your requirement.
4: You can check the report , alphabetical, grouped and hierarchcal.
5: Then select the report shown as one account, group , selected.
6: Then mention the report date and other configuration and check the report.
If your trial balance report total is not matching then check the below steps.
Step 1: Take the backup of your data.
Step 2: Then do the update master balance from housekeeping.
Step 3: If the total is still mismatch then need to open the report in the short range date.
Step 4: Then you will get a date from which the mimatch is coming then open day book and correct the entry.
To check whether the master has been carried forward or not, you can check the opening trial-mismatch from previous year report. If any mismatch exist then you need to carried balance from previous year. To check the opening trial-mismatch from previous year report, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to display section then click on trial balance
Step 2: Click on opening trial-mismatch from previous year then open the report.
Expense and revenue account balances are not carried forward to the opening balance for the next financial year because revenue accounts are not required to be carried forward. The opening balance for the next financial year is determined by the previous year's closing balance. Therefore, any balances related to expense and revenue accounts need to be manually transferred to the capital account or adjusted in the trial balance.
If the particular sales voucher is not showing in the trial balance then check the below steps.
Step 1: Make sure that the voucher has been properly passed with correct sales account tag in the item master.
Step 2: If the voucher is unapprove then will not show in the trial balance.
Step 3: If the voucher value is zero then will not show in the trial balance.

1. go to the trial balance under display menu
2. and select closing or opening trial balance alphabetical
3. then balance only or detailed
4. then select group of account and select sundry creditors
5. mentioned closing or opening dates and other relevant details
6. after open report you can see creditor party's account balances.
If trial balance opening showing missmatch then check wheather its missmatching
in current year data or missmatching with previous year closing balance
if showing missmatch in opening trial with previous year closing trial then go to
previous year and update master balance from house keeping menu and carry forward
data to next year and if showing differnce in current year opening then passout the
proper entry
To generate financial statements in BUSY, Please follow the steps : Step 1: Open BUSY.
Step 2: Find the Display section.
Step 3: Choose the financial statement you need, like a profit and loss report or a balance sheet, trail balance.
Step 4: Click on it.
Step 5: The software will make the report using the information you put into the system.
