Step 1:Go to the administration, select masters, and look for the item option. Select modify.
Step 2:Open an already created master, find serial number wise details, and enable that option by selecting Y.
Step 3:Press save or press the F2 shortcut key to move to the next step.
Step 4:A new window will open, here, you need to select the automatic numbering option.
Step 5:Change the starting auto number from 1 to your desired number and select renumbering frequency as daily, monthly, or yearly based on your preference.
Step 6:Select a structure name, create a new structure by clicking on configure, and add the structure name.
Step 7:In the predefined structure, adjust components like Month, year, and auto numbering. Modify or select other available components as needed.
Step 8:Save the auto numbering structure, select that structure in structure name, and save the item master by pressing the F2 key or clicking the save button.
Step 9:Go to the transaction option, open the purchase voucher, and select Add.
