What is the procedure to check sales for a time period by brand or item in BUSY

 If you want to check sales report by brand or item wise in BUSY software
Pleae follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on display
Step 2 Click on sales analysis
Step 3 Click on item wise
Step 4 Select here report if you want to check date wise, Monthly or Quarterly
Step 5 Select here your item preference, like one item, all item, group of item
Step 6 During open the report there is a option item category
Step 7 Select there brand and open the report

Is there a way to display the value of sales in addition to the number of items sold in a report?

 Yes, To see the sale value with number of item you can follow some steps:
Step 1: Go to the display and then click on Sales analysis.
Step 2: Now click on the item wise and then click on standard date voucher wise .
Step 3: Now click on All item and select date wise option.
Step 4: Now enter the period for the report and enabe option of value of item and also enable other options as per your requirement.
Step 5: Now click on OK option and check your report.

How to view sale analysis report with effect with bill sundry ?

 To view the sale analysis report with effect with Bill Sundry, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to display, then select Sales Analysis, then select Item-wise, then select Standard-Date/Voucher-wise, then select all items.
Step 2: then date-wise or as you require, such as voucher number-wise selected vouchers, then select date range, and then press OK or F2 to load the report.
Step 3: After loading the report, you can view the summary report and enter the item level. You can also check the bill details.

1. While checking inventory summary showing wrong value, 2. while generating E-waybill/E-invoice for export showing error

 If while checking inventory summary showing wrong value, you need to check below reasons:
1. You need to check the stock valuation method.
2. You need to check the entry-level transaction.
3. also you need to update you balance from house keeping option.
While generating an E-waybill or E-invoice for export, you need to check the below reasons:
1. In the e-waybill or e-invoice for export, you need to mention 999999 in the party station name.
2. Also you have to mention port code in case of E-waybill/E-invoice for export.

I am unable to generate inventory reports with day-wise or daily breakup of stock levels. The reports only show cumulative stock levels. How can I get day-wise stock reports?

 BUSY doesnot provide day wise stock reports for all items, However, you can check daily summary for single item by follow these steps: 
Step 1: Go to Display section then click on inventory summary
Step 2: Choose the Daily summary report then mention the item name, date range and press on Ok tab to view the report.
Note- You can contact to your local channel reagrding customisation for Day wise stock report for all item.

How to check inventory summary with chart wise details In BUSY . How do i edit it ?

 Find out the steps to check inventory summary with chart wise details BUSY further you cannot edit this chart 
Step 1 : First go to display
Step 2 : Then go to inventory summary
Step 3 : Then go to Monthly summary
Step 4 : Then select Vertical mode and check report with item wise or item group wise
Step 5 : And check the chart displaying month wise details of items

I am unable to analyze the purchase and sales data together for a product or party. Can you explain how I can relate the purchase and sales modules?

 If you want to analyze the purchase and sales data together for a product or party there are no any particular report for this,you can check the Consolidated Summary 
To check the consolidated summary follow the below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu
Step 2: Click on Inventory Summary
Step 3: Select the Consolidated summary
Step 4: You can select Item wise /Item group wise as per requirement
Step 5: Show the value of item (Y)

Can I see how long each item has been in my inventory before being sold?

 By following given steps you can see how long each item which you have in your inventory before being sold:
Step 1: Go in display section then select inventory summary option.
Step 2: Then Click on stock ageing FIFO basis.
Step 3: Then select report to be shown as item wise or item group wise and one item , group and all or selected item.
Step 4: Then mention the stock status period and other configuration.
Step 5: Check the report.

What BUSY reports show root cause items for overall negative stock

 If your stock quantity showing negative, and want to know the reason
Please follow the given steps
Step 1 Go on display
Step 2 Click on Inventory summary
Step 3 Click on check negative stock
Step 4 open this report with all items
Step 5 If any item are coming in this report, it means stock are zero or negative on that date
Step 6 Now check stock report of the same date

There is a difference between physical stock and stock shown in inventory reports. What could be the reason for this inventory discrepancy?
