How do I configure backups to run automatically on a schedule?
To configure Backup automatically on a schedule time, you can use BUSY Agent Application. follow these steps to configure BUSY Agent:
Step 1: Download the BUSY Agent Setup from the BUSY website www.busy.in Go to the Resources and Download section to find the setup file.
Step 2: Install the setup in the same drive where BUSY is installed.
Step 3: After the installation is complete, configure your data directory from where your data is running under the General Configuration tab.
Step 4: Click on Backup Configuration on Local Drive and specify the backup path and schedule the backup timing.
Step 5: Click on Backup Configuration on Google Drive and enter your Gmail ID and authorize it.
Step 6: Schedule your backup as per your requirements and save the configuration. Click on Add to Startup to enable automatic backup on your Google Drive.
Now, your data will be backed up on Google Drive at the scheduled time.
The notification emails are not being received even though I have configured BG Agent for backup. What could be the issue? How can I fix this?
If the notification emails are not receiving for taking google drive backup then follow
the steps
1 Go to BUSY agent configuration setting
2 click on general configuration
3 enable send notification through email
4 specify the email ID and on smtp server option put smtp.gmail.com
5 make the port as 465 and on user name option mention your mail ID and on password
option fill the auto generated password from gmail app password and save
6 to generate app password need to ensure that you have enable two step verification on gmail
open gmail go to account setting click on security and search app password then click on It
and fill app as other and mention the name as BUSY and generate
after generating password a password window will appear copy the text and paste on BUSY agent
mail password and click on check mail setting then save
