I am unable to receive backup notifications via email after a certain date. How can I resolve this?

If you have not received backup notification after successfully backup up from the BUSY Agent, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Agent and click on the General Configuration.
Step 2: Make sure the email id you entered is correct and then click on “Check Email Settings” to see if it sends a test mail or not.
Step 3: If you have trouble sending the test mail, you may need to generate an application password from your Gmail account and enter it in BUSY Agent.
Step 4: If the test mail is sent successfully, check your inbox and spam folder to see if you received it.

How often should I take a local backup of my data in BUSY?

To create and schedule the backup data in BUSY ,Please follow the below steps to take a backup : 
Step 1: Download the BUSY Agent Setup from the BUSY website www.busy.in Go to the Resources and Download section to find the setup file.
Step 2: Install the setup in the same drive where BUSY is installed.
Step 3: After the installation is complete, configure your data directory from where your data is running under the General Configuration tab.
Step 4: Click on Backup Configuration ( Local Drive ) and specify the backup path and schedule the backup timing.
Step 5: Schedule your backup as per your requirements and save the configuration.

The backup seems slow. How can I speed up the backup process?

The speed of the backup process depends on the size of your data. However, if you experience very slow backup speed, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Ensure that your system has enough free space to run BUSY Agent smoothly.
Step 2: Check your system’s CPU / HDD usage and make sure it is not at 100%.
Step 3: Replace your HDD with an SSD, which offers faster data transfer speed.
Step 4: If you are taking backup on Google Drive, verify that your internet connection is stable and fast.
Step 5: Update BUSY Agent to the latest version if there is any available.

Yes, you can schedule for automatically backup and configure it as per your requirement for save auto backup on Google Drive. To do this, you need to install the BUSY Agent software and configure it to automatically backup your data to Google Drive.Click on Backup Configuration on GOOGLE DRIVE and enter the a email id and then click on authorise button then allow or give permission to BUSY Agent to save backup on your mail to Google Drive and then Backup and then schedule for automatically backup and configure it as per your requirement.
Click on ADD TO STARTUP option for taking backup automatically from BUSY.

What can I do to improve the performance of BUSY Agent, which is running slowly on my computer?

To improve the performance of BUSY Agent running slowly on your computer, you can try the following steps:
1. Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for BUSY Agent.
2. Close any unnecessary programs or applications running in the background.
3. Check for any available updates for BUSY Agent and install them.
4. Clear temporary files and cache on your computer.
5. Increase the available memory (RAM) on your computer if possible.
6. Consider upgrading your computer's hardware, such as the processor or hard drive, to improve performance.

Why am I unable to authorize BUSY with my Google account?

You may face some difficulties in authorizing your Gmail ID in BUSY or BUSY Agent application due to various reasons. Some of the possible causes are:

2. Your Google account settings are blocking the access of third-party apps like BUSY or BUSY Agent.

Additional backup path not working in BUSY. What to do?

In BUSY Agent, Make sure that you have specified the correct additional path for the backup. Additional path can be different but set data directory path should be same in BUSY Agent and in BUSY.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Additional path configuration :
Step 1: Open the BUSYAgent
Step 2: Click on General Configuation
Step 3: Enable the take backup for additional path
Step 4: Click on Additional path option
Step 5: Specify the additonal path folder and mention the short name.
Step 6: It will automatically take backup on scheduled time of local drive backup configuration.

While working with BUSY, the application sometimes gets aborted automatically. Why does this happen?

The BUSY Agent may automatically abort due to the following reasons:
1. Ensure you are using the latest version of BUSY Agent. Install the updated version if necessary.
2. Update BUSY to the latest release
3. VeriFinancial Year Date, Time, and Region Settings [Date Format: DD-MM-YYYY, Time: Chennai/Mumbai/Kolkata +5.30, Region: English US]
4. Check antivirus settings and exclude BUSY Agent and BUSY.exe files
5. If the issue persists, reinstall BUSY with a different drive and reinstall the BUSY Agent on the BUSY installed path
6. Windows updates may sometimes cause problems. Consult with a hardware expert to roll back previously installed updates or determine if an OS format is required

Why is my BUSY backup not happening at the scheduled time?

Pls Follow the Below Steps for facing issue with the backup in BUSY Agent.
Step 1: Make sure that the backup configuration should be proper in BUSY Agent.
Step 2: It should be installed the latest version of BUSY Agent
Step 3: Make sure that the time should be mention in the BUSYAgent.
Step 4: Check the backup folder of that scheduled time.
Step 5: Add to startup the BUSYAgent so that it will take backup on scheduled time.
Step 6: Exclude BUSYAgent in the Antivirus.
