Steps to configure the email in BUSY.
Step:1 Go to Administraiton
Step:2 Select Configuration option from it.
Step:3 Then Email configuration and make sure email sending option should be default.
Step:4 Then mention smtp server name and other details in the configuration
Step:5 Login your gmail id and enable 2 step verifitcaiton and generate app password for mentioning in BUSY from manage may google account option in the security tab.

To configure Email in BUSY for sending bill and other documents, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Choose Email Configuration and selec Send Directly.
Step 3: If you use Gmail, type smtp.gmail.com as the SMTP server and your Gmail id as the username.
Step 4: Generate an App password by right-clicking on the Gmail id Logo and clicking on Manage your Google Account.
Step 5: Click on Security then Two-step verification then App password and enter BUSY as the app name and generate.
Step 6: Copy and paste the password in BUSY and fill in other details like From, Reply to, etc.
Step 7: Click on Test Account Settings to make sure you can send a test mail successfully.
Step 8: Now you can email bill and reports from BUSY.
You can send bills on multiple email id by using the semi colon (;) .
What is the process for emailing invoices to customers in a specific date range in BUSY?
To email invoices to customers for a specific date range from BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Print / Email / SMS tab and click on Print Utilities.
Step 2: Select the Invoice / Documents option and choose the voucher type which you want to print such as Sales Invoice, Purchase Invoice, etc.
Step 3: You can also filter the invoices by Party, Item & Material Centre. You can select One, Group, ALL, or Selected.
Step 4: Enter the Date Range for the invoices you want to email and choose the printing format.
Step 5: Click on Email and then Sent To Party the email address will picked up from the party master.
Step 6: You can also enter the email id if not mentioned in the party master.
Why does the email configuration work for one of my email account but not the other email accounts in BUSY?
Some of the common reasons why email configuration may not work for some of your email accounts are:
1. The email service provider does not support SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), which is the standard protocol for sending emails over the internet. For example, Yahoo Mail does not support SMTP.
2.The email account has a two-factor authentication or a less secure app access feature that may prevent BUSY from accessing your account.You need to disable these features or generate an app password for BUSY to access your account.
3. Domain generated emails are not supported in BUSY.
4. Also, in case of outlook require to login in system installed outlook app if sending directly from BUSY.
If none of the above steps work, try using another email account that is compatible with BUSY or contact the BUSY support team for help.
How do I configure BUSY to send GST reports to my Chartered Accountant automatically?
You can send report to your CA from BUSY through Email or Whatsapp. To configure them you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Choose Email Configuration and fill in the required details, such as SMTP Server, Username & Password, etc.
Step 3: Click on Test Account Settings to verify that you can send a test mail successfully.
Step 4: Once you have configured your email settings, you can send reports via email from BUSY.
To integrate whatsapp with BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Choose SMS API Configuration and create a new format.
Step 3: Type the whatsapp API as whatsapp://send?phone=phoneno&text=message and fill phoneno in Mobile field and message in the Message field.
Step 4: Save the configurations.
Step 5: Install and login to the desktop version of whatsapp on your system before sending.

To configure BUSY to send invoices via email, follow these Steps:
Step Step 1 : Open BUSY
Step 2 : click on Administration
Step 3 : Select Configuration
Step 4 : Email Configuration.
Step 5 : In the Email Configuration window, select the "Email Sending" option.
Step 6 : Choose the desired format for sending the invoice, such as PDF attachment, email body text, XML attachment, or PDF plus XML attachment.
Step 7 : Enter the necessary details for your email server, such as SMTP server address and port number.
Step 8 : Provide your email account credentials, including the username and password.
Step 9 : Click on "Test Email" to verify if the email configuration is successful.
