We need to the two step verification for generating the app password from sending the emails from BUSY.
Pls Follow the Below Steps for Password creation :
Step 1: Open the Gmail id or any email which has mention in the BUSY for sending the email.
Step 2: Click on setting option
Step 3: Then click on Accounts
Step 4: Then click on Google account setting
Step 5: Then Security
Step 6: Click on Two Step Verification
Step 7: Then you will get the option for app password, there select the other app and mention the name BUSY the click on generate.
Step 8: Copy the generated password and paste it in BUSY email configuration option.
I want the invoices emailed automatically to customers from BUSY. How can I configure this?
To enable the Send through Microsoft Outlook option in email configuration in BUSY, you need to go to Administration Configuration Email Configuration and select the Send through Microsoft Outlook option.
1. Open BUSY and go to the Configuration menu.
2. Select Email Configuration from the options.
3. Enter your email address and password in the provided fields.
4. Choose the email service provider you are using (e.g., Gmail, Outlook).
5. Enter the SMTP server and port details for your email provider. You can find these details in the email settings of your email account.
6. Enable SSL/TLS encryption if required by your email provider.
7. Save the settings and test the email configuration by sending a test email.
Can I email the generated EVA bill directly from BUSY? If yes, how?
You can email e-waybill generated from BUSY with invoice by following these steps
1.Go to transactions and select the voucher for e-waybill is generated
2.Open the voucher and then select EMAIL on the top of voucher or you can use shortcut ALT plus M and select send email then proceed by selecting format of invoice
3.After selecting send email,your invoice will be automatically attached but for e-waybill,you must save e-waybill downloaded from portal through BUSY and select the same in external attachment by selecting from local drive
4.Enter the recveiver's email id or if mentioned in party master,it will pick automatically
5.Click on send
6.Now email will be sent including invoice as well as e-waybill attachment which was saved in your local drive
How can I send notifications about events or changes in BUSY to users?
To send notifications about events or changes in BUSY to users, you can use the Event Notification featureBUSY provides an option of event notification, in which you can set the notification for some pre defined event occurance in your company. To use this option follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration
Step 2: Click on configuration option, select feature/option
Step 3: Select General tab and enable Event Notification
Step 4: Set the occurance of event, you have to select the type of event and user
Step 5: Mention contact no on which notification to be shared.(This option work with BUSY BNS Application)
Please note, option is available in Standard model of BUSY and with active BLS
Can you guide me on sending an email from my email ID?
For sending an email from your email ID in BUSY, the email configuration needs to be set up. To set it up Gmail Id follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration tab.
Step 2: Select Configuration and click on Email Configuration.
Step 3: Click on Send Directly choose Send Reports as options as required.
Step 4: Specify smtp.gmail.com in SMTP Server then mention your gmail id in User Name.
Step 5: You need to create App Password from your google account. You can check our document available for how to create it.
Step 6: Now, click on Test Account Settings for sending a test mail then save the configuration.
Your BUSY is ready to send reports or invoices via email.
Configuring BUSY to send emails via the company's Outlook email server and the steps to follow?
To configure BUSY to send emails via the company's Outlook email server, follow these steps:
1. Open BUSY and go to the Administration Configuration Email Configuration option.
2. Select the "Send Directly" option for Email Sending.
3. Choose the format in which you want to send the email, such as PDF attachment, email body text, XML attachment, or PDF plus XML attachment.
4. Specify the server configuration by entering the details of your company's Outlook email server.
5. Save the configuration settings.
6. Test the email sending by sending a test email to confirm that it is working properly.

How can I ensure that attachments and email content are properly sent from BUSY, as they are currently missing?
If attachments and email content are missing when you send emails from BUSY, it can be a frustrating issue. Here are steps to ensure that both attachments and email content are properly sent:
Step 1 ; Ensure that the attachments you are trying to send are not too large.
Step 2 : Double-check that the attachments are correctly added to your emails before sending.
Step 3 :Ensure that the email addresses of the recipients are correctly entered.
Step 4 ;Check the email configuration settings within the software.
Step 5 ; Send test emails to different email providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) to determine if the issue is specific to a particular email service.
How can I send last year's invoices via email to my clients in BUSY? What is the process?
If you want to send email for last year invoices to your clients then follow the steps.
Step 1. Go to Administration menu
Step 2. Then click on change financial Year
Step 3. Then Select the year for which you would like to send invoices to your client via email.
Step 4. After changing the year then Go to Print/Email/SMS menu
Step 5. Then click on Print Utilities option
Step 6. Now Select Invoice/Documents optoin
Step 7. Then select Type of Invoice option
Step 8. Then choose one option Either Date wise or Voucher wise.
Step 8. Then enable the relevant field as per your need and click on email button All invoices will go automatically..
I entered the password but am still unable to send emails from BUSY. What should I check?
If you entered the password but are still unable to send emails from BUSY, you can try these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: You should check the SMTP server and port settings for your email configuration.
Step 2: If you are using gmail account then you need to create App password then enter in BUSY.
Step 3: Make sure the third party acess is granted in the email account.
Step 4: Check the antivirus setting and make sure it is not blocking the BUSY application to access the internet connection.

The old email ID is still being picked up in invoices. How to change default email ID?
If you want to email invoices from BUSY and the old email id picked automatically, then you need to make sure that the email id is correct entered in the party’s master.
Further if you send invoice on self email id then you need to change the email id from the voucher series configuration by following these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Voucher Series Configuration and choose the voucher type.
Step 3: Choose the voucher series then click on Voucher Configuration. Here you will see an option called Send E-Mail After Saving.
Step 4: Click on Configure, here you can update the self email id.
