For add description of item in one line follow the below given steps:
 Step 1: Go to Administration
 Step 2: Configuration
 Step 3: invoice and document Printing
 Step 4: Advance
 Step 5: Sale Invoice and then customise as per requirement (add decription in one line)
 Note: Customization is chargeable as per customiation
