 In the basic version of BUSY, automatic e-invoice generation is not available. If You Have basic Model Upgrade it To Standard or enterprice.

As the e-invoice portal does not allow for amendment of e-invoices, once its generated and you want to make some changes so you need to cancel the e invoice and regenreate it with fresh document Number.

No, once e-invoice is generated, youn cannot change the invoice date, when you try to change the invoice date you will get a prompt that Cannot modify the invoice details ,E-invoice has generated for this invoice

API access for e invoice will be found in gst portal:
 Step 1 : login to gst portal
 Step 2 : click on dashboard
 Step 3 : view profile
 Step 4 : manage API access

If you want to show e-invoice generated by you to your customer then they can check from portal if there is any provision about this, otherwise you can send the e-invoice pdf to your customers

When you configure GSP in BUSY for e invoice and e way bill generation, you need to mention only GSP userid and password which can be created from e way bill or e invoice portal.
