Unable to connect client system with server system in SQL database. How do i Troubleshootthis?

If client system is not connecting in SQL database, then you need to check these Troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Check both systems are properly connected through LAN or WIFI.(If on same location)
Step 2: For different location you need to check static IP and port should be open.
Step 3: Ensure correct server information is mentioned in set server informat on client system.
Step 4: Check your antivirus not blocking the connectivity.
Step 5: Make sure that the dongle server is running.

Why is the software still showing it is in demo mode even after I entered my license key?

If the BUSY is running on demo mode even after entering the license key then please check the below aspects:
1.Ensure that the license key has paste in the same drive and folder in which BUSY is installed.
2.Check by reopening the BUSY application
3.Ensure that the correct BUSY model has been selected.
4.Confirm that the softlock license file has been validated. If not, then validate the softlock license from the License management option under the company menu head.

BUSY keeps going into education/demo mode. How can I stop this?

To prevent BUSY from entering demo mode, please check the following details:
1. Ensure that if you are using a hardlock, reinsert it into a different port.
2. Revalidate the softlock license from the license management if you are using a softlock.
3. Connect to a stable and proper internet connection.

What should i do on client system to connect with main server?

If the data folder shared on the server system then you should follow these steps to connect client sytem with server system.
Step 1: Open BUSY then go to set data directory option under the company menu.
Step 2: Browse the data path under the network tab and save and reopen BUSY on both server and client system.
Step 3: Now, when you open company you can access the same data as shown on sever system.

While opening BUSY on the client system it shows the error “data directory does not exist. Kindly specify valid data path”

This issue occurs when the data directory specified in the client system fails to pick data from the server system. We need to specify same data directory of server in client also
Step 1: Check data directory specify in server system
Step 2: Share the same to everyone.
Step 3 : Specify shared location path in client system.
Step 4: Disable password protecting sharing from server system.
Step 5 : Reopen server and then client.

I have two systems with different BUSY versions. How to sync data between them?

If you have BUSY multiuser model then can sync data between two systems , for sync data follow the below steps :
Note : It is recommended to use save version of BUSY in two system other chance of data get corrupted
Step 1: Share folder from server system
Step 2: Systems should be connected to same network and mention shared data path in client system
Step 3: then restart BUSY

What should I do if the client system run in demo mode?

If the Client system is running on demo mode, check the possible solutions:
1. BUSY must be open in the server system.
2. Check by reopen the BUSY on server then in client system.
3. Ensure the data directory specify in client system must be correctly entered.
4. Lan Ip should be ping on client system in order to connect server with client.

To fix the issue of the data directory path not reflecting on the client system, you need to set the data directory path on the client system to be the same as the data directory path on the main server system. This can be done by selecting the path from network tab. And make sure both system connected on the same network i.e, LAN or WIFI.
