Generating Consolidated E-way Bills
Generating consolidated E-way bills is an important process for businesses involved in the transportation of multiple consignments in a single vehicle. Consolidated E-way bills allow businesses to generate a single document containing all the details of the consignments being transported, simplifying the logistics process and reducing paperwork.
Under the GST regime in India, the process of generating consolidated E-way bills has been streamlined through the use of the E-way bill portal. In this article, we’ll guide you through the step-by-step process of generating consolidated E-way bills using the E-way bill portal, helping you streamline your logistics operations and comply with GST regulations.
What are Consolidated E-Way Bills?
A consolidated E-way bill is a single document that records all the information on the E-way bills related to the consignments. This is to ease the confusion for the transporter as he would only be required to carry one consolidated E-way bill rather than maintaining multiple E-way bills for various consignors and consignees in one vehicle. To generate a consolidated E-way bill, you must be a transporter or should generate an E-way bill yourself to access the facility of a consolidated E-way bill.
