What should i do if getting errpr RTE while viewing reports?

If you are unable to view the reports and showing RTE5 in BUSY follow the below steps: 
Step 1: Open company in BUSY
Step 2: Go to house keeping menu
Step 3: Then click on Reindex database option
Step 4: Then click on second option of You can proceed as i have latest backup
Step 5: Then click on OK button, a message appear proceed for reindex database, click on OK
Step 6: Then It start the process and take few minutes to complete it
Step 7: After completioon the process, a confirmation message will appear on the screen
Step 8: Then you can review the reports
Note: Take latest backup of the company data

How to customize columns in reports exported from BUSY?

To customize column in BUSY , you can follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open the report you want to add column
Step 2: Select the option given above for custom column and mention format name
Step 3: Then mention column heading , position and data field that should show in column
Step 4: Save the format and reopen the report with created format
Note : Custom column only available in Standard and Enterprise model of BUSY not in Basic
To customize report in Basic model you can use the option of columnar report from configuration option . Is only has Limit report option to customize.

How can I ensure that my sales data from different platforms is correctly entered in BUSY?

If you want to reconcile the sales data from different platforms is correctly entered in BUSY then you can follow these Steps 
Step 1 : Open BUSY software then Open company.
Step 2 : Go to display menu then enter.
Step 3 : Go to account books then enter.
Step 4 : Go to account registers standard then enter
Step 5 : Go to sales register then enter go with all sale type and all accounts then select date range, yes the option of show bifurcation of amounts then open report.
Through this you can check all transaction one by one with the amount in BUSY software.

I sold an item multiple times but BUSY only shows sale, why is that?

If you did multiple sale entry but BUSY is showing only one entry in that case several reasons of it you need to ensure in your company:
1. Ensure that you have created all the invoices properly
2. Make sure you have specific rights to view the sale report
3. If you dont have rights to view the report you need to login with superuser and provide the rights to subuser for viewing the sale report
4. Ensure that you are checking date in specific financial year where you did the sale entry
5. Make sure you have selected correct date range while opening the sale report
6. Make sure you are using latest version of your BUSY software

What is the process to update the chart of accounts in BUSY?

If you want to update chart of accounts then please follow the given steps
Step 1: Go to administration menu then master.
Step 2: Then account option and then list.
Step 3: Then Screen then standard format then all accounts
Step 4: Then show GST details option will appear turn it yes.
Step 5: Then chart of account has opened here you can delete account by press F8
For add press ALT + F1 and for modification just select and enter on master
to open in modified mode.
Step 6: Then after make changes in master just need to save it. resultant chart of
account will update as per changes made.

Is there a way to apply multiple filters simultaneously in BUSY reports?

If you want to apply multiple filters simultaneously in any reports then please follow
the given steps
Step 1: Click on filter option in any report.
Step 2: Then at the bottom there is two option single and multiple filter.
Step 3: For multiple filter you need to tick on multiple filter then configure multiple filters
window will open
Step 4: Select column in filter on field column then operator then value then select filter
type having as it is then match case yes
Step 5: Then enter formula for filter as per example given below then save.
Step 6: Then click on filter option then your report will be filtered.

How do I check which month's bills have been generated for which dealer in BUSY?

To see dealer wise sale bill report in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu.
Step 2: Click on Accounts book.
Step 3: Then click on Account Register and select Sale Register.
Step 4: Open the report for All parties or a specific party.
Step 5: After opening the report, you need to add a column through custom column.
Step 6: In the upper tab, you will find the option of Custom column, through which you can
add the desired column in which you are maintaining your dealer name.
Once you have added the dealer field, you can apply summary on the dealer column and it
will show you the dealer wise bills.

How do I filter or search for a specific party's transactions in BUSY?

To search the specific party transaction in BUSY, you can open the party ledger book and apply filter as per need by follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then select Account books menu
Step 2: Choose the Account ledger report and then select Account Wise option
Step 3: Select the standard format for viewing the ledger report and choose the specific party for which you want to open the report.
Step 4: After specifying the account name in the Select Account field, set the date range. click on the Ok button. The ledger report will display the data for the selected party.
Step 5: Now, Apply filter by pressing F7 shortcut key as per requirement.

In my BUSY, there is a wrong voucher entry showing in one of my party ledgers, even though it does not belong to that party. What should I do to correct it?

If you're using BUSY and you notice a wrong voucher entry in one of your party 
ledgers, even though it doesn't belong to that party, you can follow these steps to fix it:
Step 1: Open the voucher from the party ledger by using Ctrl+l.
Step 2: Check if any wrong ledger tagging is being done within the item master.
Step 3: To check this, keep the cursor on the item name and press Alt+m. If a wrong ledger
is tagged so remove that and set it as "Not Required" and save the master.
Step 4: After taking a backup, go to the Housekeeping menu and run "Regenerate Dual
Voucher" to correct the same in bulk.

The purchase reports are not getting generated properly in BUSY. What could be the reason and solution for this?

If your purchase reports are not getting generated there could be the several reasons of it:
1. login in with subuser and dont have appropriate rights to view the report
2. checking wrong or false report
3. purchase data is not available in your company
4. Corruption in your data
To solve this issue please follow these steps:
Step 1: Logged in with superuser and then check the report
Step 2: Give the reports viewing rights to all the subusers
Step 3: If checking wrong report then make sure to generate correct report available in BUSY
step 4: If any corruption found in data contact to your channel partner
