How do I summarize the sales register by party to avoid thousands of transaction lines
To get a summary of the sales register by party name in BUSY, you can do the following:
Step 1: Open the sales register that you want to summarize.
Step 2: Click on the Summary button or press F5 on your keyboard. This will open the Summary screen.
Step 3: Select Account from the dropdown list of Summarize on. This will group the transactions by party name and show you the total amount for each party.
My account is showing incorrect balances. How can I troubleshoot and correct this?
If your account is showing incorrect balances then please follow the given steps
Step 1: Take the backup of the company.
Step 2: Then Go to Housekeeping
Step 3: Then Update master balances
Step 4: Then again check account ledger

How can I view my account ledger in BUSY for a particular account?
If you want to see the Account Ledger of a particular account in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu and click on Account Books then Account Ledger.
Step 2: Select Account-wise and click on One Account.
Step 3: Choose the account name from the dropdown list.
Step 4: Enter the date range and open the report.
Step 5: You can also press shortcut key ALT+L to ledger.
How do I check the billing reports and history in BUSY to audit what bills have been generated?
To check billing report, you can see sales register in BUSY by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu and click on Account Books.
Step 2: Select Account Registers(Standard) and Choose Sales Register.
Step 3: Enter the date range and can view that report.
Furthermore, if you are using Audit Trail feature then you can see Audit Trail report. This report will provide you history of bill and including modification and deletion made to them.
When I generate reports in BUSY, they do not look like the new customized formats I created. What should I check or do differently to output the reports in my customized formats?
If you are generating report and do not look like the new customized format that you
created then please follow the given steps
Step 1: Make sure you have saved the format properly.
Step 2: Re open the report then while opening report you will get a option of
select format.
Step 3: In the field of select format you need to select that format which have created
not standard.
I want to filter my report to only include records where a specific field is empty. What should I enter as the operator?
To filter records with empty fields in a report, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Select the field you want to filter.
Step 2: Choose the Filter option, or you can use the F7 shortcut key for filtering.
Step 3: Specify the field name in the Filter on Field option. Then, select the Equal operator and leave the value field blank.
Step 4: This will show you all records with empty fields in that particular column.
How do I select multiple accounts or all accounts for sales data? I only see one account coming up.
To select multiple accounts or all accounts for sales data in BUSY, when you open your Account Sales Register or Account Summary option of account book/account summary from display. Then a window will appear for selecting the party range on which you can select / choose All Accounts or select the specific accounts you want to include in the report. This will allow you to view sales data for multiple accounts at once.
How do I summarize sales data by party in BUSY reports
To view the sales amount for each party in BUSY, you can do the following:
Step 1: Go to Display and click on Sales Analysis.
Step 2: Select Party-wise and can choose either Date-wise / Monthly / Quaterly.
Step 3: Enter the period and open the report. This will show you the sales amount for each party.
Furthermore you can also summarize the sales register by party name. Just click on the Summary button or press F5.
How to see sale list with customer GST number in BUSY
To see sale list with customer GST number in BUSY then follow below steps:
Step 1: Go transaction menu and select the voucher type as Sale
Step 2: After that select list option and then screen option
Step 3: Then specify voucher series, date range and make sure to select show party TIN and GST number option as Y then enable disable other function as per requirement and after that choose ok to see list.
How can I generate a sales register report in BUSY?
To generate sales register in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Display menu and click on Account Books.
Step 2: Select Account Registers(Standard) and Choose Sales Register.
Step 3: Enter the date range and can view that report.
Step 4: If you want to export that report then use the "Export(ALT+E) option to export it in a compatible file format such as Excel, CSV, PDF & Google Sheet.
