How do I update my account in bulk and remove incorrect openings balance?

To update account master and remove incorrect opening balance in Bulk, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of your data.
Step 2: Go to administration section then click on Bulk updation menu
Step 3: Select Multiple account creation and modification then tick on modify existing master and select name in key field.
Step 4: Click on select fields and select the required field then click on save.
Step 5: Now, Load the master and update the details and remove the incorrect opening balance and save the update.

How can I load the items to modify them in bulk?

If you are using multiple item creation or modification utility from bulk updation to modify items in bulk, then you can load items by using these steps:
Step 1: On mutiple item creation or modification page click on load master button.
Step 2: Here, can select either all items or group of items then click on show list.
Step 3: From the list of items you can select items as per the requirements. You can also select all then press ok to load items on the main page.

Is there any option to copy-paste discounts for multiple items?

To copy and paste discounts for multiple items in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration.
Step 2: Select Bulk Updations and click on Multiple Item Creation / Modification.
Step 3: Click on Modify Existing Masters and select then Key field as Name.
Step 4: Click on Select Fields and select discount field then Load Masters.
Step 5: After loading that group items you can copy-paste data in discount column then save.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.

How can I select MRP stock option for multiple items?

To enable MRP feature for multiple items in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration.
Step 2: Select Bulk Updations and click on Multiple Item Creation / Modification.
Step 3: Click on Modify Existing Masters and select then Key field as Name or Alias.
Step 4: Then, Select Fields and choose Enable MRP Stock field and save.
Step 5: Now, Load Master and specify Y in the relevant column then save.
Note: Take backup of your data before making any changes.

Is there an option to update HSN codes in bulk?

Yes, there is an option to update HSN codes in bulk and you can follow some steps to update HSN and these are:
Step 1: Go to Administrarion and then Click on Bulk Updation.
Step 2: Not select the option for Multiple Item Creation and Modification
Step 3: Now Select Modify Existing Master and specify Key field
Step 4: Now click on Select field and then select HSN Code field and save the configuration.
Step 5: Now enter HSN code for all item and save the changes

Is there an option for automatic receipt of bills?

In BUSY, there is no option for automatic entery for receipts of bills. You have enter receipt voucher manually or can use our Bulk Receipt feature by using these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 2: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Bulk Receipts.
Step 3: Select Amount Receivable or Bills Receivable as required and enter the date then click on down arrow.
Step 4: Then, select the VchType, Series, Date and Bank/Cash Acc then enter the Amt. Rcvd. and save.

How to merge tax account in BUSY?

To merge tax accounts in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of data.
Step 2: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 3: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters and select account.
Step 4: Select the Source master which you want to merge and select Target master in which you want to merge the data then set Y/N for Delete Source Account After Merging Data as per need.
Step 5: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.

Can you explain how to use the merge account option in bulk updation to resolve the issue with ledger accounts?

To know how to merge two account in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to Administration menu.
Step 2: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters and select Accounts.
Step 3: Select the Source and Target master and set Y on option available Delete Source Account After Merging Data if you want to delete the source account.
Step 4: Click on Ok to proceed and check after complete it.

No, you cannot merge items in bulk. You need to merge individual items by follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of data.

Step 3: Click on Bulk Updations then click on Merge Masters and select Item.
Step 4: Select the Source and Target master and set Y on option available Delete Source Account After Merging Data if you want to delete the source account.

What should I do if I have multiple vouchers to create in BUSY?

To create multiple vouchers in Bulk in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the latest backup of your data.
Step 2: Go to administration section then click on Bulk updation menu
Step 3: Select Multiple voucher creation and modification then click on configure the format then click on required voucher type then add format and configure the format by select required fields.
Step 4: Now, Select the voucher type then select format then click on update.
Step 5: Update the details for voucher creation and save the window.
