How often does BUSY release software updates, and where can I find information about the changes?
The frequency of BUSY updates can vary based on the changes happen in GST law and software development priorities, bug fixes, and feature enhancements.
If any new release of updated software comes, you can find the updated from the given steps
Step 1 Open BUSY software
Step 2 Click on CHECK BUSY UPDATES
Step 3 You can find here product updates and statutory updates
Step 4 Download both and install in same drive where BUSY software installed
The address shown in my bills is incorrect. How can I change it?
To check and update company address in BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Open company with using login credentials.
Step 2: Go to the company menu and click on edit company
Step 3: Check and update address of the company.
If the party master address showing incorrect in BUSY then check and update address in particular account master. Go to administration then select account master and edit the address details. Once you save the changes, the updated address will be reflected in your bills.
How can I copy master and configuration from exixting company when create new company ?
To copy master details and configuration from an existing company to a new company, please follow the steps mentioned bellow:
Step 1:Go to create company from company menu
Step 2: Mention neccessary details required to create company
Step 3: Now select option of copy master and configuration
Step 4: Now click on select company and choose then company you want to copy master
Step 5: Now click and save , new company with master will be created
Can I add a sales invoice if the party already has the due amount?
Yes, you can add a sales invoice if the party already has the due amount. However, you can set a warning for due bills while invoicing in BUSY.
To set warning for due bills while invoicing in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration
Step 2: Select warning alarm then configure for warning only, no action and Don't Allow as required in Due bills while invoicing field.
Step 3: Now, save the configuration.
How to copy masters while creating a company in BUSY?
To copy masters while creating a company in BUSY follow the below steps:
Step1: Open BUSY software and then go to company menu
Step2: Then click on create company option and then mention required details
Step3: After that click on Copy masters and configuration option shown in the last of the bottom of screen and then click on select company option
Steo4: Now select particular company and mention username and password if required and then press on save option
How do i copy and paste data path in BUSY?
To copy and paste the data path in BUSY, please follow below steps :
Step 1: Open BUSY software and go to the Company menu.
Step 2: And select Set Data Directory option.
Step 3: From here you can know the data path, you can paste data in this location and set the data location from here.
Step 4: Then Save the window
Step 5: Now you can check your data from Open Company under company menu.
How do I delete a company in BUSY?
To delete a company in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
1. Open BUSY.
2. On the home page/main menu options are displayed
3. Select Delete company/Single Financial year option.
4. Choose the company you want to delete from the list and enter admin user credentials
5. Click on the option complete company.
6. Confirm the deletion by clicking "Yes" in the confirmation dialog box.
7. The company will be permanently deleted from BUSY.
Where should I put the address of the receiving firm?
The address of the receiving firm should be put in the voucher entry in BUSY , please follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to comapnay menu and then select open company option.
Step 2: After then select company from given list and open it with the user login and password.
Step 3: And now again click on the company menu and then click on the edit company option
Step 4: Update address ito address field and save the configuration.
How do i create a new company with the same configuration as in existing company?
To create a new company with the same configurations as in existing company, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY then click on create company option under the company menu.
Step 2: Enter all the necessary details such name, financial year beginning date, address, etc then at bottom tick on copy configuration option.
Step 3: Click on select company button then select the existing company and enter the username and password (If required) then save.
Can you explain how can I split the Financial year in company?
To spilit financial year you need to take backup first and follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the company menu and click on split financial year option.
Step 2: Now select the company that you want to split and then enter login credential.
Step 3: Now select the financial that you want to split and also can enable option after splitting delete the Above Financial year from the source comapny and then click on split option.
