What is the procedure to migrate data/switch companies in BUSY?
For switching company first closing existing open company. Go to company Tab then Open Company, Select relevant company which you wants to switch
For Migration of data completely from one company to another take backup of data from one company and overwrite that backuped data to another company
Note:- Please do backup first for processing. If still any issue Contact to BUSY Support Services
What are the process to delete a company in BUSY?
To delete a company in BUSY follow below steps:
Step1: Open BUSY software and go to company menu.
Step2: Then click on delete company single financial year option and select particuclar company then specify username and password if required.
Step3: After that select complete company option and press yes, after completing the process, you can check the deleted company has been removed from the list of company.
How can i change my company name in BUSY ?
To change your company name in BUSY then follow the given steps :
Step 1: Open BUSY software
Step 2: Then go to company menu
Step 3: Then Select company and open it with login user name and password
Step 4: Then Go to company menu
Step 5: Then click on edit company option
Step 6: Then change company name and click on save button
How do I add my business details in the BUSY?
To add your business or company details in BUSY software can follow the steps:
Step 1 : Open BUSY Software then Open company with super user.
Step 2 : Go to company menu
Step 3 : Edit company then click
Step 4 : Then you can mention your business or company details.
Step 5 : Then save the details.
Will the user accounts be copied to the new company as well?
Yes, the user accounts can be copied to the new company in BUSY by following below steps:
Step 1: Go to company menu then select create company option.
Step 2: Then navigate to the bottom left corner and use the feature named as copy masters, configuration and users from the existing company.
Step 3: Then select the company from which you want to copy the masters.
I want to delete a company from BUSY. What is the procedure?
To delete company from BUSY need to follow below given steps
Step 1:Take a latest backup of the company first.
Step 2:Go to company menu and select delete company option from it.
Step 3:Select company which you want to delete and then mention the credentials of the company.
Note: once deleted cannot be recover if do not have backup of data.
Where can i specify Gst number in a company in BUSY?
You can specify Gst number in a company in BUSY follow the below steps:
Step1: Go to Administration menu and then click on configuration option
Step2: Then click on Feature and option and then select GST/VAT feature
Step3: Now specify GST number in the field of GSTIN shown in the left side of the screen and save the changes by click on save option
How can I delete a company that was created by mistake?
To delete company from BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Software and go to company menu.
Step 2: Select Delete company / Single F.Y option.
Step 3: Then select the company from the list of companies option and then select the company whose data you want to delete.
Step 4: Then it would ask you do you want to delete company click on Yes option.
How can i enable GST feature in BUSY?
To enable gst feature in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on configuration tab.
Step 2: Choose features and option then select Gst vat configuration.
Step 3: Tick on enable gst vat reporting option then select gst in type field.
Step 4: Now, select the type of dealer, return filling frequency and update the gstin of company then save the configuration.
Is there a specific option to select for copying the masters from existing company to new company?

Step 1: Go to company menu then select create company option.
Step 2: Then navigate to the bottom left corner and use the feature named as copy masters, configuration and users from the existing company.
Step 3: Then select the company from which you want to copy the masters.
