How do I link my business registration number to my BUSY account?
When you register your business you will get a CIN (Corporate Identification Number), which you can enter in BUSY during company creation. You can also enter the same later on by going to Edit Company tab.
How do I update my contact information and account details in BUSY?
To update company's contact information in BUSY, you need to click on the Edit Company under the Company menu. Make necessary changes and save.
Please Note: Take latest backup of your data before making any changes.
Can the notification for an update be turned on in BUSY Updates?
No, it is not possible to get notifications for updates in BUSY Updates. However, you do need to check the BUSY update option on daily basis to ensure about the latest releases and updates in BUSY.
Where is BUSY data stored other than the current data directory?
The default data directory for BUSY software is located on the C drive. However, you have the rights to customize the directory according to their preferences, allowing them to store their data in a specified path
Where can I find the service tax related settings in BUSY?
BUSY has GST and VAT tax type. To find that follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and here you can see option of GST / VAT.

When you create a new company in BUSY, you should enter all the required details in the correct field available and after that create a username and password which can be used to open that company.
How can I change the address on the headlining company?
To change adress of company follow the steps :
Step 1: Go to company configuration then edit company
Step 2: Now change company address and save
Step 3: Select yes in option for update in standard printing option

No, you cannot have multiple companies with the same name but different user accounts and passwords in BUSY Accounting Software. Further you can maintain print name same for two companies but company name should be distinct.
