There is no update to the software that changes the Central IGST value to 12. It might be a configuration issue. To check follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to administration then masters
Step 2: Now select sale type or purchase type
Step 3: Then click modify now mention the name of the sale or purchase type
Step 4: Correct sale tax percentage then save.

I am trying to add a Tax category but am unable to find where to add that. what should i do ?

If you want to add a Tax category in BUSY please follow these steps: 
Step 1: Go to the administration menu
Step 2: Afterwards click on masters
Step 3: Then click on the item
Step 4: Then click on add to add item master
Step 5: Afterwards specify the name, unit group, etc, and tax category as a service then save the master

How do I select the tax category for an item and what is the difference between 14 and 28 tax categories?

To select the tax category for an item in BUSY ,please follow below steps:
Step 1: go to the item master and select the appropriate tax category for that item.
Step 2: The difference between 14 and 28 tax categories is the percentage of tax applied. 14% tax category applies a tax rate of 14%, while 28% tax category applies a tax rate of 28%.

I want to add the party name in the return for a cash transaction. What is the process?

To add the party name in the return for a cash transaction, 
You need to add and maintain the party master for the return transaction.
For this, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration.
Step 2: then select Masters
Step 3: then select Account,
Step 4: then select Add and put the relevant information and save the master.

I have godowns in multiple states but GST registered address in one state. How do I handle that?

If you have single GSTIN but having multiple godowns then you can specify the godown address in material center master by follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on master menu.
Step 2: Select the material center option then click on add option.
Step 3: Now, Create the material center and update the godown address in material center address field. and save the master.

I'm having trouble getting a bank account to show up properly in the current assets. It's showing up in the bank record but not in current assets. How can I fix this?

If the bank account is not displaying under current asset in balancesheet then follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on master menu
Step 2: Choose the account option then select the modify tab
Step 3: After access the bank account master in modify mode, update the bank account group in its field and save the master. Now check the balancesheet again.

I think I tagged the wrong group for a party I created. How can I modify or correct the group tagging?

If you think you tagged the wrong group for a party you created, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration, then select Masters, then select Account, then select Modify.
Step 2: Then search for the party name that you want to modify; in this window, you will find your group name, and you can correct the group in party master.

Why can't I see the tax category and units for products in my list? How do I view this information?

To view tax category and units for particular products, please follow these steps:
Step 1 : Click on administration
Step 2 : Select Masters
Step 3 : Select Item
Step 4 : Click on modify
Step 5 : Select desire item for whom you want to view tax catogory and units
Step 6 : Open item and check tax category and units

I am unable to tag certain expenses to the right account head. What should I do to tag them correctly?

To tag expenses correctly in BUSY, you need to ensure that you have created the appropriate account head for the expenses. If you are unable to find the right account head while tagging, you may need to create a new account head specifically for those expenses. Once you have created the account head, you can tag the expenses to the correct account head.

Is it mandatory to select a group in the party? If yes, how do I create a group?

Yes, it is mandatory to create a group in the party in BUSY accounting software. To create a group in BUSY follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then select masters submenu
Step 2: Then select account group option and then choose add option
Step 3: After that specify the details in the respective fields and then select save option to create account group
