How do I manage users and access rights across multiple sites in the same BUSY account?

To manage multiple sites, you can use the branch feature and assign a user for each branch. To add Users and set permission in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin user.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on "Users" option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user and can specify Branch for that user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permissions for the new user according to your needs and preferences.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.

Why does the invoice item name/description revert back to the old one when I try to edit and save it?

If you are not able to Modify invoice item name/description follow these steps:
1.If you are unable to Modify or save the master, check your user rights. Go to the Administration, then click on Masters, and then click on Accounts.
2.If you cannot see the options for modifying the account, log in with a Super User/Admin User.
3.Then, go to Users in Administration and click on Modify. Give the rights to modify masters.

I am unable to see certain options mentioned in the manual. Why are some options missing in my software?

If you are unable to see some option in BUSY,it might be your user restriction if you are login as sub user,you can check these things: 
Step 1:Go to the Administrtaion menu,
Step 2:Click on users,
Step 3:Open that user in modify mode,here you can give rights to this user, then re open and check options will be appears in BUSY.
If still some options are not showing,then you need to check which model you are using if you are using basic model so some option will not appear in missing,you have to upgrade it first.

How do I give the rights to other user for viewing balance sheet and trial balance reports?

To give the rights to other user for viewing balance sheet and trial balance report follow below steps:
Step1: Firstly you need to open company with super username and password and go to administration menu
Step2: Then click on users submenu and select other user in which you want to give rights or permissions
Step3: Now go to menu rights section shown in the right side of the screen and click on display menu check box
Step4: Afterward, select the checkboxes for final results and balance sheet and selecting the checkbox for trial balance. Then, save the configuration by clicking on the save option

Why am I unable to permanently change the invoice item name/description in the software?

If you are not able to Modify invoice item name/description follow these steps:
1.If you are unable to Modify or save the master, check your user rights. Go to the Administration, then click on Masters, and then click on Accounts.
2.If you cannot see the options for modifying the account, log in with a Super User/Admin User.

What should I do if I am unable to modify the sale voucher?

If you are unable to modify the sale voucher in BUSY, then you have logged in your company from sub user and they do not have rights to modify voucher.
To give rights to them for the same, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company from the admin user and go to administration menu.
Step 2: Select users option then click on modify and choose the user to whom you want to give rights.
Step 3: After opening it on right side in menu rights section expand the transaction option and then expand the sales.
Step 4: Tick on modify option and save.

How can I restrict user access to specific branches in BUSY?

If you want to restrict user access to a specific branch, you need to create a separate user account for each branch and assign the appropriate permissions. Follow these steps to map a branch to a user and set the permissions:
Step 1: Open your company with Super / Admin User.
Step 2: Go to Administration tab and click on Users.
Step 3: Here, you can Add new users or Modify the existing users.
Step 4: On User page set Y on "Specify Branch for this User" and select the branch from dropdown list and set other permissions as required and save.

Why does the add option not showing under the sales voucher?

If the add option not showing under the sales voucher, then you have logged in your company from sub user and they don't have rights to add sales voucher.
To give rights to them for the same, follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company from the admin user and go to administration menu.
Step 2: Select users option then click on modify and choose the user to whom you want to give rights.
Step 3: After opening it on right side in menu rights section expand the transaction option and then expand the sales.
Step 4: Tick on add option and save.

I'm unable to create a new tax category in BUSY. What should I do?

If you are unable to create a new tax category in BUSY then it might be possible that your user ID not have the rights to solve the issue follow the steps 
Step1 open company with admin ID the go to administration menu
Step2 click on User and click on modify
Step3 select your user id and go to Menu rights option and allow adding of tax category and save
Step4 then open company with your User id go to administration menu and click on master then click on tax category and click to add

Why am I unable to view certain features and options in BUSY?

There could be several reasons why you are unable to view certain features and options in BUSY.
