How do I add or remove users and set permissions for different access levels in BUSY?

 In BUSY, managing user rights involves adding, removing, and assigning permissions. Here are the steps:
To Delete a User:
Open the user in modify mode, then press the F8 shortcut key to delete the user.
To Add a User:
Step 1: Go to Administration -> Users.
Step 2: Click on BUSY Users -> Add.
Step 3: Specify the User Name & Password (remember it for future logins).
Step 4: Provide various permissions as displayed on the user screen.
Step 5: On the right side of the user screen, select the necessary rights for adding, modifying, listing, deleting, viewing, and canceling.

How do I get full rights access for a particular module/feature in BUSY?

 Reasons for not showing the some featuer/module in BUSY:
1. User permissions: If you are logged in with sub user and you do not have rights to add party in BUSY in that case you will not be able to add party in BUSY.
2. Lower model: If you are using the lower model of BUSY like basic in that case too, some feature would not be visible to you.
To get full access rights for particular module/feature in BUSY:
Step 1: Log in company with the super user.
Step 2: Go to administration menu and select users from it.
Step 3: Then click on modify user option and make sure to give permission or full access from menu rights option.
Step 4: Lastly click on save button to save changes.

What is SuperAdmin in BUSY and how do I access it?

 Super or Admin user in BUSY is a user role that has access to all the features and settings in the software. To access Super or Admin user, you need to log in to BUSY with an account that has Super or Admin privileges.
Also you can check admin user configuration,you can check it in users under administartion in your company.Also note that super or admin user is created at the time of creation of company or later can be enabled in user option under admisnitartion,and in case you forget your admin passowrd or id,then you have to reset your admin user username and password by sending your data on our official mail id support@busy.in and will get data after reset admin user credentials reset.

Is it necessary to log in as an admin user to create a Bill Sundry in the company?

 No, it is not necessary to log in as an admin user to create a Bill Sundry in the company. However, it depends on the rights given to the sub user. If you are logged into the company with a sub user, the rights should be granted to add bill sundry.
To give the right to a sub user to add bill sundry, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open Company with Super User id and password.
Step 2: Go to Administration and click on the User option.
Step 3: Open user in modify mode and then check the menu rights option on the right side.
Step 4: Click on Administration option and then again click on Master maintenance and tick on Bill sundry option then save the changes.

What is the process to add, modify or delete users in BUSY Accounting Software? How can users set passwords for their accounts?

 The process to add, modify or delete users in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to the Administration menu and select Users
Step 2 : And then click on add option to Create new User or select Modify to edit an existing user and to delete user click on modify and press default shourtcut key F8 key to delete user.
Step 3 : To set passwords for their accounts, super user can define a password while creating a new user or modify the password for an existing user.
Step 4 : And also sub user can also reset the pasword by going to administration then users then change password but user must know their old password to reset it.

Why am I unable to delete or remove an item added to an invoice incorrectly?

 If you are unable to Delete an item to an invoice,you can check these things:
Step 1:If you are a sub user,so you need you check you have rights,To delete invoices or not.If not you need to login as admin user then go to Administration then users open sub user account in modify mode check in transaction deletion rights give rights then check it again.
Step 2:If your BUSY model is enterpise and you are using voucher Approval feature,You need to check if you have the approvals or not.If you don't,you cant be delete any voucher,you will need to grant rights to the main user.
Step 3:If you are using head office Branch office Feature then you cancheck Branch user rights.

I want to restrict sub-users from changing e-invoice settings in BUSY. How can I do this?

 To restrict sub users from modifying E invoice setting you should follow the steps 
Step1 go to administration menu and click on configuration
Step2 click on feature options and select GST VAT
Step3 Go to required E invoice configuration option
Step4 Make Y on Restrict sub user to modify or delete vouchers whose E invoice is generated
Step5 Go to administration and click on configuration then click on Feature options and
then GST VAT option
Step6 Click on Einvoice required configuration and make Y on Restrict sub users to change E Invoice applicability in vouchers and Make Y on Restrict sub users to modify or delete vouchers
whose E invoice has been generated

How can I define categories for items and set different prices for each category?

 To define categories for items and set different prices for each category in BUSY, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration then configuration then Features/Options
Step 2 : Go to inventory tab then item pricing mode in vouchers and enable multiple price list for items and click on ok and save button.
Step 3 : Then go to administration then masters go to item click on modify mode and press default shortcut functional key F2, it will pop up multiple price list window define different price rates and click on ok and save button."
Step 4 : Now when you add voucher it will ask you category and price will automatically pick as per category define in item master.

I need to edit some transaction details in BUSY but the edit option seems to be disabled. How can I enable editing of transactions?

 Reasons for not showing edit or modify option in transaction are:
1. If you are logged in with sub user and you do not have rights to modify the transactions.
2. If the data is frozen till certain date and you are modify transaction for that transaction.
To resolve this querry you can follow below steps:
step 1: Log in with super user and go to administration menu.
Step 2: Then select users and click on modify option.
Step 3: Now from menu rights option give the relevant permission for modify voucher.
Step 4: For unfreeze data go to administration option then select utilities option.
Step 5: Under utilities option select data freezing option to unfreeze data.
