Find Solutions to Common Issues Related to configurations - user rights
If you are unable to change financial year in BUSY then it may be a possibility that you are logged in the company with sub user credential and you have no rights to change financial year and if you want to chnage financial year with sub user follow below steps:
Step1: Open company with super user login credential and then go to the administration menu
Step2: Then click on users section and then click on modify option and then open particular sub user
Step3: Now go to the menu rights option shown in the right side of the screen and click on Administration option
Step4: Then click on change financial year option and save the changes by click on save button
Reason for not able to see some options in BUSY
User permission: If you are logged in with the sub user id and you do not have rights to add and modify voucher in that case you will not be able to add and modify vouchers.
Steps to follow to resolve the problem of not able to add and update the sales voucher.
Step 1: Login company with the super user id and then go to administration menu.
Step 2: Then select option users from it and click on modify option to modify user configuration.
Step 3: Then navigate to the menu rights option and give rights to modify voucher to the sub user.
To configure user roles and permissions in BUSY and restrict access for certain users, you can follow these steps:
Step 1 : Log in to BUSY as an administrator.
Step 2 : Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3 : Select User Configuration.
Step 4: In the User Configuration window, you can create and manage user roles.
Step 5 : Click on the Roles tab.
Step 6 : Create a new role or select an existing role to modify.
Step 7 : In the Role Details section, you can set permissions for various modules and features.
Step 8 : Customize the access rights for each module according to your requirements.
Step 9 : Save the changes.
To set a restriction for a user for modifying vouchers in BUSY, you need to do the following:
Step 1: Log in to your company with Super / Admin user credentials.
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab and click on Users.
Step 3: Click on the Modify button and select the user name from the dropdown list that you want to restrict. This will open the User Rights screen.
Step 4: Uncheck the Modify option for the vouchers that you want to restrict.
Step 5: Click on the Save button to apply the changes. This will restrict the user from modifying the selected vouchers.
Furthermore you can also freez your data under the Utilities tab in the Administration menu.
If change financial year option not show in company it could be due to the possibility that you are logged in the company with sub user account and you have no rights to change financial year follow below steps:
Step1: Login in the company with super username and password and then go to Administration menu
Step2: Now click on users submenu and modify option and then particular user
Step3: After that click on Administration option shown in the right side of the screen under menu rights and then click on check box of change financial year and press on save option
Step4: Now You can log in to the company with sub-user credentials and change the financial year.
In vary situations generated invoice disappear or inaccessible in BUSY, You can follow below steps to resolve it:
Step 1: Check is it generated succesfully.
Step 2: Chekc it might due to user restrictions by admin user.
Step 3: Check it is in cancelled voucher.
Step 4: Take latest backup and go in house-keeping and check it in incomplete voucher.
Step 5: Approved and audited voucher can not be modifed.
Step 6: Unapproved voucher not reflect in account ledger if we have done such configuration.
Step 7: Also if have any latest backup then can restore it and check.

If you are not able to edit and delete the vouchers, Then pls follow the below steps.
Step 1: Make sure you have open the company from the super user as have no rights to the sub user.
Step 2: If you are using the approval feature and dont have rights to edit and delete the voucher.
Step 3: If you have created the challan and adjusted in the sales voucher, then not able to delete or edit the voucher.
Pls follow the below steps for User Rights :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Users
Step 3: Select the user and On Expand Menu Option can give rights to the user
To add new user in BUSY.follow these steps
Step 1 Open your company and then go to administration
Step 2 Go to users and proceed to add BUSY user
Step 3 Enter user name and then confirm password
Step 4 You can also mention hierarchy level and voucher series for reporting
Step 5 Next you can also read control from other user by tagging another user in it,if required
Step 6 Or you can review all rights of which you wants to allow to user and enable
Step 7 Now save and relogin company and then login with new user
Step 8 Now user will be logged in with alloted rights
: To synchronize password changes in BUSY across company accounts, you need to follow below steps :
Step 1: Log in to each company account individually.
Step 2: Within each company account, follow these sub-steps:
a. Go to the Administration section.
b. Select User from the options.
c. Choose the Modify option.
Step 3: In the modification window:
a. Select the desired username.
b. Click on the Modify option again.
c. Update your password as needed.
d. Save the updated password information.
Please note that there is no bulk password update feature available in BUSY software, so you'll need to repeat these steps for each company account individually to update the passwords.
: To update passwords across multiple company accounts in BUSY, you need to follow below steps :
Step 1: Log in to each company account individually.
Step 2: Within each company account, follow these sub-steps:
a. Go to the Administration section.
b. Select User from the options.
c. Choose the Modify option.
Step 3: In the modification window:
a. Select the desired username.
b. Click on the Modify option again.
c. Update your password as needed.
d. Save the updated password information.
