What voucher entries do I need to pass to claim a refund for excess GST paid in BUSY?

You can use journal vouchers in BUSY to enter GST adjustments enteries with the correct GST Nature. For more details about accounting entries and rules, you may need to consult your CA or Accountant.

The negative balance is not getting cleared for some parties. What is the solution for this issue?

If a party balance is showing negative then might be the option is enable Include Bill Payable while opening the Bills Receivable report in BUSY. You need to disable that option to fix that.

Should I use the Contra entry if payment is made through cheque or UPI to a party?

Contra voucher is used to record bank to bank and bank to cash or vise versa transactions. So if you made payment to party then you should record payment or jouanal voucher in BUSY.

Why is the cess being applied to all the items instead of a specific item?

If you want to apply cess for specific item then you need to use the sale purchase type as Itemwise or Taxinclusive during the voucher entry instead of multi rate or single tax rate.

Why does the bill reference adjustment appear in wrong date while adjusted on difference date?

The bill reference adjustment date appears on the basis of the date entered in the receipt or payment vouchers. If showing wrong then you need check that vouchers and if found wrong correct this.

What should be the credit for my entry, and where do I enter it?

You can enter account in credit side in the receipt, payment, contra, journal, debit / credit Note voucers. And what should be enter in the credit side is depend on the nature of transaction.

How can I check the series in which credit notes have been created?

To check the series in which credit notes have been created in BUSY then you need to open the list of credit note and open any voucher there you can check the series name. 

What details are captured for BB and BC transactions in the GST reports?

In the GST reports, B2B transactions capture invoice level details including taxable amounts and tax amounts. B2C transactions, on the other hand, do not include tax and are not shown at the invoice level.

What is the process to amend and resend a statement if needed?

If you want to modify voucher of payment or receipt you may follow given steps:
Step: 1 Go to transaction.
Step: 2 Payment or receipt.
Step: 3 Open bill in modify mode and after changes resave voucher.

Can you explain the Self valuation method for item closing stock?
