To recover or restore your corrupted data in BUSY, you can use the "Restore Data" option. This allows you to restore data from the last backup copy you have created. Simply specify the path from where the backup copy has to be picked, and you can restore your data from there.

1. take a backup on daily basis on your external hard drive or google drive.
2. or you can copy data folder and save it in another drive or folder.

I restored a backup in BUSY but now a new company is created. How do I fix this?

If you restored a backup in BUSY but now a new company is created, it means you have to select the option NO to Overwrite when you restore the data, so if you don't want to create a new company, then you have to click Yes on the Overwrite option.

How do I recover my accounting data if my hard drive failed and my computer was reformatted?

When your hardware get corrupted and device format , you have to restore your accounting data backup .To restore data follow the steps below :
Step 1: Go to restore data from company menu
Step 2: Select data path in which backup is present
Step 3: Click on ok then restore

If you have access database then your data is secure in your system harddisk
And if you are using sql database then your data is secure in your SQL server ,
but still for a security purpose we will still recommend you to take the backup of your data on daily basis
