Restoring data from a backup and troubleshooting restoration errors in BUSY.

 To restore backup in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.
If you encounter any errors during the restoration process, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Step 1: Ensure that the backup folder contains both backup files i.e, DATA, DISK1 and its not corrupted.
Step 2: Check if the same company already exist then you can overwrite it or create a seperate company.
Step 3: Run BUSY as an administrator mode to prevent any permission error.

How can I change data path and take backup before uninstalling BUSY?

 The "BUSYwin/Data" folder in the drive where BUSY is installed is the default path of your data. Furthermore you can change data path by using the below step:
Step 1: Open BUSY and go to the "Set Data Directory" option, here you can set your data path and save changes.
To take backup of your data before uninstalling BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Backup Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.
You can also copy your whole data folder.

After reinstalling, I still have backup issues. What should I do?

 If you are facing issue while taking backup even after reinstall BUSY, you can try these troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Make sure you have enough space on the drive where you want to save the backup.
Step 2: Make sure the data folder is not stucked by your hard disk. You can test this by copying the folder and pasting it to another location.
Step 3: Make sure you run BUSY as an administrator. You can do this by right-clicking on the BUSY icon and selecting Run as administrator.
Step 4: Give appropriate permissions and rights to data and backup folder.

I am having trouble accessing my company on a new system. Can you help me transfer my data correctly?

 To access company in different system in BUSY then process below mentioned steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY Software and go to company menu
Step 2: Then click on Backup data option and then select particular company and specify user name and password if required
Step 3: Now specify path of the pen drive by browsing there and then select All financial year or one financial year as per your requirement
Step 4: Then click on Ok and it will take few minutes to take backup and after completing the process a confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Step 5: After that connect that pendrive in another system and open BUSY then select company menu
Step 6: Now select restore data and specify data path for restoration of backup files
Step 7: Then press ok to restore company

How can I take a backup in BUSY?

 To take a backup in BUSY,Please Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Open BUSY and go to the Company Menu.
Step 2: From the Company menu click on submenu Backup Data
Step 3: In the populated window Company name list will be shown.
Step 4: Now you can Select the company for data backup
Step 5: And then you have to Mention the User and Password of the same company in the given field space.
Step 6: And specify the backup folder path in the given space . You can browse the folder path of use copy paste the folder path.
Step 7: After selecting backup location, now you can select financial year according to your requirement. Either all year of a single year..
Step 8: And then click on the Okay button and start the process.

Should I take a backup before making changes related to GST in BUSY?.

 Yes, it is recommended to take a backup before making any changes related to GST in BUSY. This will ensure that your data is protected in case any issues arise during the process. 
In BUSY have two backup option Manual and Auto by BUSY Agent tool.
Step 1: BUSY Manual Backup we can set for 7-day daily backup that will ask you every time when you close company. that backup can set in local drive.
Step 2: If you want to set auto backup need to install BUSY Agent Tool. in this BUSY Agent Tool, we can set auto backup for every day and no. of backup in a day 3-time Max.
Step 3: In BUSY Agent backup data can be stored in Local drive, google drive.

I want to back up my company data from BUSY. What is the recommended way to do this?

 To transfer data from your existing installation to a new computer when installing BUSY, you can follow these steps:
We can take backup and restore the same from company menu.
For Backup follow the below step
Step 1:- Go to Company menu
Step 2:- Backup data
Step 3:- Select company
Step 4:- Mention user name and password of company
Step 5:- Sepecify path for backup
Step 6:- Select financial year for backup(Single or All).
For restoring backup follow the below steps
Step 1:- Go to company menu
Step 2:- Restore data
Step 3:- Mention path for restoration
Step 4:- Click ok
If same company already exits in list of company then it will ask for rewrite backup data on existing data. Select as per need (Yes or No)
