The server crashed while using BUSY and now I cannot access the data. What can be done to recover it?
Backup Data: To take backup of your data from BUSYfollow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSYand select Backup Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.
Restore Data: To restore data in BUSYfollow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSYand select Restore Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.

I am trying to reconcile my ITC data but some months are blank. How can I get the full data?
ensure the HSN codes are mapped properly while exporting ITC data , follow these steps:
Step 1: Launch BUSY GST Software.
Step 2: Go to the Display menu.
Step 3: Select GST Reports.
Step 4: Choose GST Summary from the available options.
Step 5: Within the GST Summary report, you will find options for various sales reports, including Item Wise Sales Summary, Party Wise Sales Summary, and Sale Type Wise Sales Summary.
Step 6: Select the relevant sub-report based on your requirements. For GST summary, you might choose Item Wise Sales Summary or another appropriate option that provides the bifurcation of tax rates.
Step 7: In this selected report, you will find the bifurcation of sales data based on different tax rates, including the GST summary.
Step 8: Click Print to generate a hard copy of the report.
How do I re-index the database in BUSY to refresh my data?
If you are facing any errors or data corruption in BUSY, you can try below troubleshooting steps:
Step 1: Before you do anything, make sure you take a backup of your latest data.
Step 2: If you cannot open your company and get any RTE (run time error), try running Reindex Database from the Company menu.
Step 3: If you get any RTE (run time error) while working in your company, try running Reindex Database / Rewrite Books from the Housekeeping menu.
Step 4: Check any Junk Characters and Incomplete Vouchers from the Housekeeping menu, if there clear them.
