I want to take a backup before updating state codes in bulk. What steps should I follow to take a backup in BUSY?
Backup Data: To take backup of your data from BUSYfollow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSYand select Backup Data option from Company tab.
Step 2: choose the company that you want to backup.
Step 3: Enter your username and password if required and select the location where you want to save your backup file.
Step 4: Select the financial year that you want to backup, either All F.Y. or Selected F.Y. and click on the OK button to start the backup process.
How can I take regular backups of company data in BUSY?

I think my local data file may be corrupted. What is the best way to troubleshoot and fix this?
If your local data file may be corrupted, you need to troubleshoot as follows:
1. Take the data backup and re-index the data base from the company menu if your company is not open; if your company is open, then you can also re-index from the housekeeping option.
2. If not, then restore the backup of your data that you took before the correction.
3. If not, send your data to our support ID with the relevant details to recover the data if possible.
My antivirus deleted an important file in BUSY folder. How can I restore it?
Once any file deleted from BUSY you cannot recover that
You can restore the Backup data if you have any backup
To restore backup data follow the below given steps:
Step 1: Click on Company menu and then select Restore data
Step 2: Give the backup data path
Step 3: Click on Ok or Press F2
Step 4: A popup will appear for overwrite Select No.
Note :For BUSY data we recommend you to take backup on daily basis,and restore it as per the requirement
What should I do if I lose my data due to a power outage?
You should follow below steps if you have lost your data due to a power outage:
Step 1: Check latest backup of your data in local drive of your system.
Step 2: If you are using BUSY agent then check backup of google drive as well.
Note: As we recommand to take regularly backup of your data for security and to avoid data loss , You can use BUSY agent and take backup on your local drive drive as well as Google drive.
How can I recover lost accounting data in BUSY?
If you can recover the lost according data from the below steps.
Step 1: When some entries are lost then you can enter it manually in the BUSY after the data backup.
Step 2: If you have data backup of the company from which the entries has lost then you can restore it that data.
We always recommend to take data backup as if you dont have backup then you will not be able to recover the lost data.
Why cant I see the data for a specific financial year in my company?
There could be multiple reasons why you are unable to see the data for a specific financial year in your
company in BUSY accounting software. One possible reason could be that you are checking data in
wrong financial so you can change your financial from administration by click on change Financial year option.Even you have to make sure that Financial should exist in concerned company If issue persist
then you have to restore backup if you have.
What steps should I take if my data is corrupted and I need assistance in resolving the issue?

In case of data corruption, you can restore your data from a manual or automatic backup, if you have taken one. You will need to send us your data for repair. (Please note that data repair is a chargeable process).
