Why does the accounting software crash or freeze at times? How can I prevent this from happening?
If your accounting software crash or freeze then please follow the given steps
Step 1: Make sure your C drive has some free space.
Step 2: Make sure your BUSY is up to date.
Step 3: Close any unnecessary applications running in the background to free
up system resources.
Step 4: Make sure your BUSY is excluded from the antivirus or window security.
Step 5: Make sure BUSY is set to run in compatibility mode.
Step 6: Check same thing in other company.
Step 7: If having same issue in other company then please reinstall once
then check.
Runtime Error ‘10002’, could not locate master code while voucher entry.
Runtime Error 10002, "Could not locate master code," typically occurs in software or applications that use a licensing or authorization system. The error indicates that the application is unable to find or validate the master code in the database for smooth functioning.
Step 1: you need to attempt to resolve it by running the 'Rewrite Book'. After logging in to the company, navigate to 'Housekeeping' and select 'Rewrite Book.' This action may help solve the problem.
Step 2: If the issue continues to persist after Step 1, you are required to send the data to us at support@busy.in for further assistance.
Runtime Error ‘58’, File Already Exists While reindexing the database
Runtime Error 58, "File Already Exists," is an error that occurs when you're trying to create a file in your code, but a file with the same name already exists in the specified location. This error typically happens when you're attempting to write or save a file using a name that is already in use.
Step 1. : BUSY software consistently maintains a log file to track its activities. During reindexing, if the file is already open elsewhere or if it already exists, an error will be triggered. In that case, a system restart is necessary, followed by another attempt.
While opening company showed a run time error 3265. What should I do?
If while opening company showing Run time error 3265 below are the steps to fix it:-
Step1: First try to open same data in lower version of BUSY if have.
Step2: If unable to open in lower version as well first Run reindex data bases then check if it is opening or not.
Step3: If company opened in Lower version so apply Data patch of DB1 under house keeping menu.
Step4: If same issue persist so I will recommand to send data to us on support@busy.in or can contact from our Authorised channel partner about it and it'll be on chargeable basis.
I am unable to generate invoices in BUSY. How can I resolve this?
If you are unable to generate vouchers then please follow the steps below:
1. Check that you are getting any run time error while generating voucher or not.
2. Check that all the required details have been specified correctly in the voucher.
3. If it is showing any error message then you need to run reindex database process through housekeeping menu.
4. Make sure you are using the latest version and release of the BUSY and no other old instances are available.
5. If it still shows any issue while generating bills then you need to share the data with us on support@busy.in
How do I resolve runtime errors when opening specific company indexes?
If you see any other RTE (run time error) while opening the company, you can try below troubleshooting steps:
Before doing anything take latest backup of your data.
Step 1: If showing RTE-3343 or RTE-5 then run Reindex Database from the Company menu.
Step 2: If showing RTE-420, then take backup of that company and restore it with overwrite no.
Step 3: If showing RTE-3265 then try to run that data in any lower of BUSY.

RTE 457 while open company?
If RTE-457 while opening BUSY, you need to check the below reasons:
1. Check the date format in the control panel; it should be the dd/MM/yyyy format.
2. Set the regional setting as per the English (united states).
3. Also, you need to date and format the time zone as Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi +5.30, Region: English US.
4. Open the control panel, go to Clock and Region, then select Region, then select Administrative, then click on change system locate, in that window you will find the option Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support , unticked this option.
While opening BUSY showing RTE 457 error
If RTE-457 while opening BUSY, you need to check the below reasons:

Why is the RTE Error - 3146 occurring when I am taking a backup from BUSY? How can I solve it?
Please follow these steps:
1. Ensure full control folder access for BUSYWIN and the Data folder.
2. Confirm that the C Drive is not full and is not showing in red.
3. Before backing up, reindex the data from the Housekeeping and Company menus.
4. Check data size from the Data path. If it shows 0 kb, there might be data corruption.
5. Consider taking the backup from the Superuser, or on a multi-user system, try using another machine.
6. Ensure that Date, Time, and Region are correctly on the PC.
7. Restart the PC or reinstall BUSY with another drive, then try again.
I'm getting an error indicating database corruption. What could be causing this and how can it be fixed?New

As per time being if run time error 5 show while generating reports or recording transactions getting an error, You Solve it by following the step below
Step1 : Take first backup of your company:
Step2 : Company menu, select Backup company take backup.
Step3 : After taking Backup, In company menu.
Step4 : Select Reindex database, Select the company.
Step5 : Reindex the select company and see error is still shows.
Step6 : If still error show Go to housekeeping menu.
Step7 : check incomplete voucher and junk characters, clear it.and See.
