I am unable to add or upload documents and files into BUSY. It gives an error when I try to attach documents. What should I do?
to add or upload documents and files into BUSY we can follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Setp 3: Features & Options
Step 4: Accounts
Step 5: Enbale maintain image/notes with Masters and vouchers
Step 6: select image folder after creating a folder.
Step 7: Create a folder in system(any location).
Step 8: Put all documents images in that folder.
Step 9: Item images should named as voucher no name.
Step 10: Now we can check document images in existing items while modify or after creating a new item.
What alternate units can be configured for items in BUSY, and how are they used?
In BUSY, We have Alternate Unit option for maintaining 2 units in item master.
Alternate Unit : We can maintain Two unit with conversion factor for same Item.
Pls Follow the Below Steps :
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Configuration
Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Inventory
Step 5: Enable the Alternate Unit option from the top left.
Step 6: Open the Item Master
Step 7: Specify the Alternate Unit with its Conversion.
Note : If Vouchers already exists for an item then we will not be able to change the Unit. We always recommend data backup before this Process.
Where is the "Maintain Material Centralized Stock Valuation Method" option?
To maintain the Material Centralised Stock Valuation Method, you need to follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration, then select Configuration, then select Features and Options, then select Inventory.
Step 2: In the inventory window, you will find the option of multiple stock valuation methods such as FIFO, LIFO, last purchase, last quantity in, last sale, self-evaluation, weighted average, age price (qty in), age price (invoice),
Step 3: And also, you can maintain MC-wise; you can tag sales and purchases with the sales purchase type, and you can also tag stock with the material centre.
How can i use two units for same item?
If you want to use two unit for same items please follow given steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on configuration submenu
Step 2: After that click on features and options then click on inventory tab
Step 3: Then tick the alternate unit of items and save the changes
Step 4: Afterwards go to administration menu again and click on masters
Step 5: Click on item and open the item from modify or list for which you want to use alternate unit
Step 6: After that specify the alternate unit with conversion and save the master
Where to control decimal places for fields like quantity, currency etc in BUSY?
We can change decimal places for Amount decimal , Quantity Decimal , Discount Decimal and Tax Rate.

Step 1: Administration

Step 3: Features and Options
Step 4: Regional Setting- Here can increase decimal places.
Quantity, Discount Decimal Places :
Step 1: Administration

Step 5: On Left Top, Can Increase decimal Places
Tax Rate Decimal Places :
Step 1: Administration

Why am I unable to save a direct sale without a challan?
You may not be able to save a direct sale without a challan in BUSY because you are using restrict sale without challan option, to disable this option follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on configuration submenu
Step 2: Then click on features and options after that select inventory tab
Step 3: After that click on configure box of enable sale or purchase challan option and untick the check box of restrick sale without challan option and press ok and save the changes
Step 4: Now check by creating sale voucher.
How do I set a default sales price for inventory items so it can't be changed in BUSY?
To set a default sales price in inventory item, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on configuration menu
Step 2: Choose the features and option then select inventory tab
Step 3: Now, click on item pricing mode option appear in bottom right side of screen.
Step 4: select for default (pick from item master) for sales then save the configuration.
Step 5: Go to administration then click on master menu
Step 6: Choose the item master then click on modify
Step 7: After access the relevant item master, update the sales price and save the master.
What does the error message cannot save voucher as sale is restricted without challan mean?
The error message cannot save voucher as sale is restricted without challan in BUSY because you are using restrict sale without challan option, to disable this option follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to administration menu then click on configuration submenu
Step 2: Then click on features and options after that click on inventory tab
Step 3: After that click on configure box of enable sale or purchase challan option and untick the check box of restrick sale without challan option and press ok and save the changes
Step 4: Now check by creating sale voucher.
How to change decimal place settings in BUSY?

How to enable the feature in BUSY?
According to the BUSY Model, There are some features which is available in Standard and Enterprise model but not in Basic. Make sure to select the correct model as per your BUSY license.

Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configuration
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then Click on as per your requirement from the tab of General, Accounts,Inventory,GST/VAT, TDS/TCS,Enquiry and Support Management and Enterprises. Also can open and search with the shortcut key F3 for feature.
