Do I need to sync the data between head office and branch office to avoid the stock report issues?
Yes, you need to sync data between head office and branch office regularaly to avoid the stock report issue. Make sure correct material centre and voucher series group tagged in the branch office.
I want to reconcile the billed quantities with my physical stock. Does BUSY have this feature?
In BUSY, you can check the stock status report as per the data entered in BUSY. To reconcile the physical stock with book stock , you need to cross verify the data manually.
To show items in stock should i mention the opening balance or create a purchase?
When you create your company if you have some opening balance of item then you should enter it in the item master and if buy new stock then acc through the purchase voucher.
Will splitting older financial data into separate files impact my current stockinventory in BUSY
You can split old financial year data in to separate files, it will not impact on current year inventory, because at time of change financial year closing stock becomes opening of next year
Is there any report in BUSY to show items where units used are incorrect?
BUSY provides you multiple inventory reports in which the item units appear with the item, so you can check any inventory report and then you can identify which unit you think is invalid.
I need the actual closing balances as of today's date. How can I get BUSY to ignore the incorrect build up and show real balances?
You can check closing balance of items from display - stock status - closing stock alphabetical- balance only - and enter the date upto you want check closing balance of your items.
How can I customize stock reports as per my requirements?
Yes, you can in BUSY option for Custom Reports you can customize reports with the help of Custom Reports
Note:- Custmization of reports option only available in standard and above versions of BUSY
How to view the closing stock in BUSY?
To view the stock status in BUSY, follow below steps:
Step 1: Go to display menu and submenu stock status
Step 2: Then choose the closing stock option in accordance with the choices provided

Maintaining stock in BUSY, we can use all inventory voucher like Purchase, Sale, Sale Return, Purchase return etc.
we can raise invoice in those voucher and can track status in Inventory reports.
