Why is the BUSY taking long time to generate reports? How can I troubleshoot this?
BUSY may take a long time to generate reports due to various reasons such as large data size, complex calculations, or system performance issues. To troubleshoot this, you can try optimizing your system's performance by closing unnecessary applications, freeing up disk space, and ensuring you have enough RAM.
I cant find the serial number for the software Where can I locate it
To find the BUSY Serial No., look at the title bar of the BUSY software screen. You will see S.No. followed by a number, this is your BUSY Serial No. If you are using a dongle license, you can also find the serial no. on the dongle itself.
Why does the data directory mentioned in BUSY removed automatically after close BUSY?
If the mentioned data directory removed automatically after close BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on company menu
Step 2: Click on set data directory then mention the actually data directory.
Step 3: Untick on above information is valid for current session only and save it.
How do I know My BUSY serial number ?
To know your BUSY serial number open BUSY and check on the top of BUSY screen
where you will get a SNO option its its BUSY serial number . If serial number not showing
and showing demo copy then contact BUSY support helpline number or mail.
How should i export the reports from the BUSY?
To export the reports from the BUSY then follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Display
Step 2: Then open the required report
Step 3: Then on the top of the report you will the export option
Step 4: Then click on export option and export it in the required format.
Why is the company folder not being copied?
If the company folder is not copied, you can check possible reasons:
1. The company is already open on the server or client system. You need to close the company from all systems before copying the company folder.
2. Sometimes, the company folder may be stuck in the hard drive.

Step 3: Select edition and user type and then save the changes.
