1. You see incorrect or incomplete tax details in your invoices or reports. This may happen if you have not configured the tax rates, tax types, or tax categories properly for your items or vouchers. For correct first idenfy them and correct the mistake.
2. If you selected wrong Sale / Pur Type in vouchers then error occurs in reports so have to identify that vouchers and correct them.
3. If some tax calculation issue in report or return then check after run Update GST Summary from the Housekeeping menu. Make sure to take backup befor run this process.

How to adjust GST liability if tax rate is changed for previous period?

Here's a general process for adjusting input and output GST in BUSY:
Step 1: Open the GST Summary section
Step 2: While in the GST Summary, press the F4 key on your keyboard.
Step 3: Select Adjustment or Payment Option
Step 4: A message box will appear, allowing you to select the type of voucher you want to post.
Step 5 : The available options typically include input/Outpout Adjustment.
Step 6: Select this option when you need to make adjustments to your GST data.
Step 7: After selecting the voucher type, you'll be prompted to enter the necessary details. Step 8: Once you've entered the required information, save and post the voucher.
Step 9: This will update your GST ledger and balances based on the adjustments or payments made.

How to record and claim IGST credit on imported goods in BUSY?

To record and claim Input Goods and Services Tax (IGST) credit on imported goods in BUSY , you need to follow of steps.
Step 1: Create a Purchase Voucher
Step 2: In the purchase voucher, enter the details of the imported goods, including the supplier's invoice number, date, and other particulars.
Step 3: Select following Bill Sundry masters Custom Duty ,IGSt Imports , Others
Step 4: Under the IGST ledger, you will have the option to specify whether this IGST is eligible for ITC
Step 5: Review the GSTR-2A/2B and GSTR-3B Reports
Step 6: Go to transaction menu and the GST misc. utilities

How can I claim my pending ITC for the previous financial year?

Step 1: First you need to carry pending ITC from previous year to current year by going to previous year.
Step 2: Go to administration menu then click on change financial year and select carry pending ITC entries to financial year then press start button.
Step 3: After that change financial year and in current year go to transactions menu and click on gst misc. utilities.
Step 4: Select monthly ITC tagging as per GSTR2B then enter the period and set Y on show previous year transactions.
Step 5: After opening the report press F4 on the previous entry the mark as claimed and enter the claimed month.

Can you explain the GST charges for services and goods?

The GST rate applied on the invoices in BUSY depends on the sale type that you choose while entering the voucher. 
Step 1: if you select I/GST-12% as the sale type, the invoice will have 12% GST for inter-state transactions.
Step 2: Similarly, if you select L/GST-18% as the sale type, the invoice will have 18% GST for intrastate transactions and so on.
Step 3: You can choose from different sale types according to your business needs and GST rules.
Furthermore if you choose Item-wise, Multirate & Tax inclusive as the sale type, the GST rate will be taken from the item masters.
Step 4: This means that you can have different GST rates for different items in the same invoice.

How to adjust GST summary with missing output tax

To fix the issue of missing or incorrect output tax in GST Summary, you need to first find and correct the error in the vouchers. Then, you need to check if the output tax is showing correctly or not.
To adjust the input/output in GST Summary in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and choose the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Display tab and click on GST Reports.
Step 2: Choose GST Summaries and open GST Summary.
Step 3: Enter the date range for the report. You should do GST adjustment on a monthly basis.
Step 4: Verifty that all the data showing in this report is correct.
Step 5: Press F4 and select Input/Output Adjustment option. Save the voucher.

Why HSN Summary’s value is not equal to all sections total in GSTR-1 Report.

GSTR-1 Report- HSN Summary
The GSTR1 report is a report of multiple sections like 4A-B2B, 4B-B2B, 5A-B2CL, 7-B2CS etc. Here the total of all sections are equal to the HSN summary’s total.
If HSN Summary’s value is not equal to all sections total in GSTR-1 Report follow the below steps:
Step:1 Firstly take backup of data By closing the company, Go to Company menu select Backup data.
Step:2 Open Company
Step3: Click on menu Housekeeping
Step5:Update Voucher GST Summary
Step6: Select (Either partial or complete)
Step7: Select Period from the popup of Updating GST in Vouchers
Step:3 If still mismatch shows, then need to check data in short range to check the particular entry level mistake. Identify that mistake and correct it first and run the process again.

Step 3 : Run the Update master balance utility from House-Keeping menu . step 4: Ensure there are no duplicate entries that may be affecting the balance.
