Why the report mismatch issue is coming, and how to resolve it?
Sometimes, the reports can shows a mismatch to correct it, follow these steps:
1. Select the correct date-range
2. Select the correct filters for report view
3. Update the latest BUSY release and then check
4. Check Incomplete vouchers from Housekeeping menu
5. Update master balances from Housekeeping menu
6. Regenerate dual vouchers from Housekeeping menu
7. If the problem still persist, then take a backup and then rewrite A/c books
Where can I find tax details of bills in BUSY
If you want to see the tax total in BUSY, You can check the invoice that shows the tax summary at the bottom. This will give you the tax rate wise amount. You can also use various report options that show you the tax details for different periods and transactions. Some of these reports are Sale / Purchase Registers, GST Summary, GST Registers, GST Returns, etc.
Why is todays sale not visible in the ledger?
If today's sale is not visible in the account ledger of BUSY, it might be due to these possible reasons:
Step 1: May be you are checking the account ledger report with the wrong date range.
Step 2: In sale voucher selected different ledger and checking report of different ledger.
Step 3: Might be you are using settlement feature and whole bill amount adjusted to cash or other modes.
How do I open sales ledger in BUSY
If you want to see the Sales Ledger in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Display menu and click on Account Books then Account Ledger.
Step 2: Select Account-wise and click on One Account.
Step 3: Select Sales as ledger name and enter the date range. The sales ledger will open of selected period.
Step 4: You can also press shortcut key "ALT+Lto open any ledger.
How can we check multi currency report (Report of foreign parties) in both foreign as well as in domestic currency?
To check multi currency report (Report of foreign parties) in both foreign as well as in domestic currency follow the below steps:
Step 1: Go to Display > Account Book > Account ledger >Account wise >Multi currency
Step 2: Select Currency Details - Both Currency and open the report.
Ledger report will display data in both Domestic as well as Foreign currency that is mentioned at voucher entry.
How do I get historical billing statements for a date range that is older than the current financial year?
To get historical billing statements for a date range that is older than the current financial year,you need to follow :
Step 1 : Click on display
Step 2 : Account books
Step 3 : Account ledger
Step 4 : Account-wise
Step 5 : One account or all account
Step 6 : While selecting date range select old financial year
Step 7 : Check ledger
The software pulled in an incorrect opening balance from last year. How can I fix or override this?
If wrong opening balance of a ledger is broght forward from the last financial year, then you need to follow these steps to fix it:
Step 1: Go to last financial year and open that party master in modify mode and resave it.
Step 2: Then, go to Administration and click on Change Financial Year.
Step 3: Change the financial year with New & Changed Masters and then check.
Some figures in my account balances seem incorrect. Can you help me identify where entries are missing?New
To Identify where entries are missing for incorrect account balance you have to follow the steps
1 enable posting in accounts through sales return or purchase return from accounts feature under
feature option of configuration menu
2 check the ledger taggingins of bill sundry master properly because wrong tagging of bill sundry
master can be reason to missmatch in account balance
3 reconcile the voucher posting
BUSY is showing me different sales figures when I check multiple times. Why does this happen?
There could be several reasons why BUSY is showing different sales figures when checked multiple times. Some possible reasons include data entry errors, incorrect configurations in the software, or technical issues.
Step 1: Take Backup.
Step 2: Go to House - Keeping Menu.
Step 3: Click on Update Master Balances
Step 4: And Run update master balances.
Step 5: Also Check BUSY latest version and Release.

To check your account details like invoice generation date and tax amounts in BUSY, you can view the transactions date-wise. This will show you the detailed tax amounts and invoice generation dates for each transaction. also you can generate list of vouchers or sales register or purchase register if any issue in invoice date or tax amounts you can modify voucher update information and save voucher.
