What is the data path for the missing BUSY data folder in BUSY Accounting Software?

To access the data path from location where you installed BUSY , please follow below steps : 
Step 1: Open BUSY software and go to the Company menu.
Step 2: And select Set Data Directory option.
Step 3: You have to set the data path by copy and paste or you can browse the folder path .
Step 4: Then Save the window .

I made a new company but VAT option is missing. What should I do?

If you did not enable the VAT option in new company, then you can enable now by using these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration then click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on GST / VAT.
Step 3: Tick on the option Enable VAT / GST Reporting and enter the necessary details such as type of dealer, TIN No. etc and save changes.

How can I Maintain my New company that is from Different state in BUSY?

To Maintain a New company that is from a Different state in a BUSY below are the steps to follow:-
Step 1: Open the BUSY and click on Create company option.
Step 2: Mention the Company Name,Address,State,GSTIN Number and other details and click on Save button.
Step 3: After creating the company company will start to reflect in company list when you will click on Open company option.

My GSTIN is updated incorrectly in your software. How do I change it?

To change your company's GSTIN which was wrongly updated in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu and select Configuration.
Step 2: Choose Features / Options and then click on GST / VAT tab.
Step 3: Update the GST number in the GSTIN field and save changes.
Note: Take backup of your data before make any changes.

How do I check the validity and expiration date of my BUSY license?

You can easily check your BUSY license validity and expiry date on the BUSY screen. Just look at the title bar and the bottom part where it says “BLS Valid Upto”. How do I close or switch between multiple companies I have created?

If you want to close or switch between multiple companies then please 
follow the given steps
Step 1: Go to company menu then select close company.
Step 2: Then click on open company to open another company.
Step 3: If you want to open multiple companies simultaneously you need
to open multiple BUSY tabs for each company.
Step 4: Then you can switch between multiple companies using alt +tab

Can I change the default folder for my company data in BUSY Accounting Software? If yes, how?

Yes, you can change the default folder for your company data in BUSY Accounting Software. To do this, you have to set the data path in the Set Data Directory option, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Select set data directory option and choose the new location where you want to store your data and click OK.

Can we copy the one company masters to another company while creating the company?

Yes, their is a option for copying masters from existing company to new company by following below steps:
Step 1: Go to company menu then select create company option.
Step 2: Then navigate to the bottom left corner and use the feature named as copy masters, configuration and users from the existing company.
Step 3: Then select the company from which you want to copy the masters.

How can I find out the hard disk number for my system?

To find out the hard disk number for your system in BUSY Accounting software, you can go to the License Management section under the Company menu and select the Softlock Registration option. From there, you can choose to bind with the hard disk, machine ID, ip address or you can go to housekeeping menu and then click on get hard disk serial no option.

How will the new name appear on the ledger and invoice?

If the Company name changed it will affect on the previous and current invoices and ledger. To apper new company name you need to create a new new company,please follow below steps:
Step 1:Open BUSY and go to coompany menu and then click on the create company option
Step 2:Create a new company with new print name .and add all other relavant details and save it
