there is no need to update stock valuation method, BUSY auto set weighted average method for stock valuation but if you want to change stock valuation method then there is multiple methods likes FIFO, LIFO, LAST PURCHASE, LAST SALES , SELF EVALUATION. Etc. you can select any of then and check stock valuation.
What should I do if my system is hanging while trying to create a new company in BUSY?
If your system is hanging while trying to create a new company in BUSY, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Close any unnecessary programs or applications running in the background to free up system resources.
2. Reopen BUSY Accounting software.
3. If the issue persists, then try restarting your system.
The invoice settings are correct, but still, I cannot add GST details. What should I do?
If you are unable to add GST details or GSTIN of company in BUSY, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to administration then click on configuration tab
Step 2: Select the features and option menu then choose GST/VAT tab
Step 3: Mention the GSTIN of the company and save the configuration .
Why am I getting an error message saying the company name already exists?
If you are getting an error message in BUSY Accounting software saying that the company name already exists, it means that there is already a company with the same name in the software. You will have to mention a different name for new company as you cannot create company with same name.
Can the GST number of my company be modified or changed and how?
Yes, you can modify your company's GST number in BUSY by using these steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to administration menu and click on configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select features and options and click on gst or vat tab.
Step 3: Update your gst number in the GSTIN field then save.
How do I correct any errors in the company name or details?
If correct the company name you can follow some steps:
Step 1: Go to Company Menu and click on Edit company option.
Step 2: Now modify company name in field and save the changes.
Step 3: Now one prompt will come for change in standard format so you need to click on Yes option.
How do I change the state after the company creation process?
To change the state after the company creation process in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration menu then select configuration option.
Step 2: Click on Feature/Options and then choose Regional Settings.
Step 3: From the drop down list, select the desired state of the company, and then save the changes.
How do I link my GSTN number with the software?
To enter your GST number in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company in BUSY, then go to Administration and click on configuration.
Step 2: Select Features / Options and click on GST / VAT.
Step 3: Here, you can enter your GST number in the GSTIN field and save changes.
Where in BUSY do I configure data management settings?
