Editing pricing and other details at the item level in BUSY involves updating individual product or service information. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do this:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on the Masters.
Step 2: Under Masters, select Item and then click on Modify. This will open a list of your items that you can choose from.
Step 3: Select the item that you want to change the Pice or rate for. This will open the item details window where you can see a field named sales price ,purchase price, MRP . You can change the price from there by selecting a different price category or creating a new one.
Step 4: Click on Save to apply the changes and close the window.
Please note to take latest Backup of your data before make any changes in your data.
Here are the steps to check the Negative stock balance of a zero stock item from the Stock Status Report or Check Negative Stock report in BUSY :
Step 1: Log into BUSY and Open the Company .
Step 2: Look for the Display Menu option.
Step 3: In the Display Menu,Inventory Summary report.
Step 4: Once you are in the Inventory Summary, you will see options to choose a Check Negative Stock Report.
Step 5: Select the one option from the report to be generated for window.
Step 6: After selecting the date range, the report will show you the negative stock status of the item .
Step 7:Or you can choose the Stock Status report from the Display menu. Once you're in the Stock Status report, you can apply filters to see negative stock. Filters could include things like sorting by HSN code or arranging items alphabetically.
Step 8: Look for items that show negative stock in the report.
For showing Freight value separately you can create new bill sundry or modify existing one if do not use in any voucher.
For modify bill sundry please follow these steps:
1. Take backup of your current data
2. Open company then go in administration
3. Then Go in master then go in bill sundry
4. Then Go in modify and select Freight bill sundry
5. Adjust in sale amount No and specify freight account
6. post over and above yes
7. Adjust in purchase amount No and specify freight account
8. Post over and above yes and save
For create new bill sundry Please follow these steps:
1. Go in master then go in bill sundry
2. click on add mention name,Bill sundry nature and type
3. Tag account in adjust for sale and purchase
4. post over and above yes and save

To check if your ledgers are defined correctly in BUSY, you should look for the following steps:
Step 1: Account Name: Make sure that the ledger name matches the one registered on the GST portal (if you are a registered dealer).
Step 2: Account Group: Make sure that the ledger is assigned to the correct account group, such as debtors, creditors, etc.
Step 3: Opening Balance: If there is any opening balance in the ledger, make sure that it is entered correctly with the right debit or credit type.
Step 4: Dealer Type: Make sure that the ledger reflects the correct dealer type, such as registered, unregistered, etc.
Step 5: GST Number: If the dealer type is registered, make sure that the GST number is entered correctly in the GSTIN field. You can also validate the GST number.
Step 6: State & Country: Make sure that the ledger has the correct country and state information.
In BUSY, You can charge the tax on freight either as an Item level or at voucher level.
Pls follow the below steps for Freight charges as an item for purchase voucher :
Step 1: Click on Administration and then masters
Step 2: Then Item and add it by name Freight Charges
Step 3: In the left side, mention the freight charges account under specify purchase account
Step 4: On the Right bottom, enable the option dont maintain stock balance and save it.
Pls follow the below steps for Freight charge as bill sundry :
Step 1: Click on Administration and then masters
Step 2: Then bill sundry and add by the service charge and select the bill sundry type as addictive and nature as others
Step 3: Then In left bottom, Accounting in purchase then enable the affect accounting and the adjust in the purchase amount then tag the freight charges account in the option account head to post and save it.
If you unable to view the tax rate as 12% for your bundled solar power system product in BUSY
Then Check in drop down that the 12% tax category is showing or not, if not then you can create the tax category.
To create the tax category then you can follow the steps.
Step 1 : Go to administration menu then enter
Step 2 : Go to master then enter
Step 3 : Go to tax category option then enter you will get three option add, modify, list.
Step 4 : Go to add then tax category details window will appear.
Step 5 : In that mention tax category name, in type field choose goods or service based on your item category , specify rate of tax in gst rate info.
Step 6 : After completing this process save the master.
Your tax category is created.
If you want to see current stock of an item in dropdown menu please follow below steps:
Step 1: Take a backup of your data then Go to administration menu then click on configuration submenu
Step 2: Click on masters configuration and select master type as item
Step 3: After that you will see the master dropdown list configuration at the rop right
Step 4: Select number of additional fields in dropdown as 2 or 3 as required
Step 5: Specify name of field as current stock and width accordingly and save the changes
Step 6: Afterwards go to house keeping menu and run regenerate master help files
Step 7: Go to transactions menu and click on voucher such as sale,purchase etc and then click on add button
Step 8: After that specify necessary details such as series,voucher number,date and party name etc
Step 9: Click on item grid and check you will see the current stock in dropdown menu
Yes, you can add multiple units for an item in the item master such as main unit, alternate unit and packaging unit. To know how to enable this follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open your company then go to administration menu then click on configuration sub menu.
Step 2: Select features and options then click on inventory tab.
Step 3: Here, tick on alternate unit of items and packaging unit of items options to enable it then configure it as required.
Step 4: You need to create new items to define main, alternat unit and packaging uni. Which items are used in any transactions in them can not define different alternate unit and packaging unit.
Step 5: To create new items with alternate unit go back to administration menu then select masters.
Step 6: Select item then click on add and enter all the necessary details such as name, group, main unit, alternate unit, packaging unit etc and save.
