I want to add HSN codes to my invoices. What should I do?

 To add HSN codes to your invoices, follow these steps:
Step 1: Update HSN Code for a Single Item
Go to Administration.
Select Masters, then choose Item.
Modify the item where you want to add the HSN code.
Find the HSN code option and enter the valid HSN code.
Validate the HSN code.
Step 2: Bulk Update HSN Codes
In Administration, go to Bulk Updations.
Look for the option Update Item Tax Category / HSN Code.
Select the HSN code option in the new window.
Filter the item HSN codes to be updated (for a group of items, selected items, or all items).
Save the information.
By following these steps, you can add HSN codes to your invoices for individual items or in bulk.

The HSN codes I entered are showing as invalid. What should I check to fix this?

 To fix the issue of invalid HSN codes, you should check the following:
1. Verify that the HSN codes you entered are correct and match the corresponding items.
2. Ensure that the HSN codes are of the appropriate length based on your turnover (minimum 6 or 8 digits).
3. Check if you have entered a proper description along with the HSN codes in the software.
4. Validate the HSN codes using the 'HSN Validation' utility in the software.
5. Export the validation report and filter it by HSN code to identify the invalid codes.
6. Update the HSN codes in the item master for each invalid code.
By following these steps, you should be able to fix the issue of invalid HSN codes.

How do I update prices in item master in BUSY?

 If you want to update prices in item master in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Administration tab and click on the Masters.
Step 2: Under Masters, select Item and then click on Modify. This will open a list of your items that you can choose from.
Step 3: Select the item that you want to update price for. This will open the item details window where you can see a fields such as sales price, pur price, etc. You can update prices
Step 4: Click on Save to apply the changes and close the window.
Please note to take latest Backup of your data before make any changes in your data.

How can i apply any charges like transportation in sales invoice?

 To apply any charges like transportation charges in sales voucher, you can create a bill sundry for same and charge it on voucher. You can follow the below steps to apply charges in voucher.
Step 1: Go to administration section then click on master menu and select bill sundry tab.
Step 2: Choose add option then create the bill sundry after specify the required details.
Step 3: Next, Go to transaction section then click on sales voucher.
Step 4: Choose add tab then specify the voucher series, date, number, select local sales type, party master, material center in header part.
Step 5: Update the item details with price and quantity then select the required bill sundry at bill sundry grid.
Step 6: Now, Apply the tax then save the voucher.

How can I add cash account with a cash-in-end balance in BUSY?

 If you want to add a cash account with a cash-in-hand balance in BUSY, you can follow the steps
given below:
Step 1: Firstly, create a cash account in BUSY if it has not been created already. To create it, go to
the Administration menu.
Step 2: Then, click on Master and select the Account option. Choose the Add option, give a name
to the account, select the account group as cash in hand, and save the master.
Step 3: Now to enter the balances of cash, you can pass a journal entry. To enter it, go to the Transaction menu
and click on Journal. Select the Add option.
Step 4: Finally, debit the cash account with the amount and credit the account on behalf of which
the cash is being generated.

What should I do if I am not able to locate a specific party or customer in the BUSY software using their mobile number?

 If you unable to locate a specific party or customer in the BUSY software using their mobile number, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1: Take backup of your company from company menu in backup data option
Step 2: Open company and Click on administration then configuration
Step 3: Open master configuration option select master type as account now in right side master dropdown list configuration
Step 4: Select number of addtional fields in dropdown as 2 and select in name of field mobile no select width as 10 and click on save button.
Step 5: On save it ask to run regenerate master help files do it as Yes press Ok key.
Step 6: Now in transaction you can search account with help of mobile number.

How do I add/modify product details and tax rates in the software?

 To add or modify product details and tax rates in BUSY, you need to follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your company, then go to the Administration tab and click on the Masters.
Step 2: Click on Add and enter all the necessary details such as Name, Group, Unit and mention tax rate in the Tax category field and save.
Step 3: Under Masters, select Item and then click on Modify.
Step 4: Select the item that you want to modify or change the tax rate for.
Step 5: Make the necessary changes and change tax rates in the Tax category field and save.
Please note to take latest Backup of your data before make any changes in your data.

Why am I unable to modify the address shown on invoices?

 If you are unable to modify the address shown on invoices, you can follow these steps to resolve it: 
Step 1: Go to Administration.
Step 2: Click on Master.
Step 3: Select Account Master and open it.
Step 4: Enter the address and other details of the party master accordingly.
Step 5: If you are using the Advanced format and you have specified the address separately, you need to change it accordingly and ensure proper alignment.

Why am I unable to see items from a particular party in the item receivable issueable reports while using filters in Material Receive from Party Voucher?

 Here are the steps need to check in the Items Receivable and Issuable Reports while using filters: 
Step 1: Log into BUSY and Open the Company .
Step 2: Look for the Display Menu option.
Step 3: In the Display Menu, Items Receivable and Issuable Reports
Step 4: Once you are in the Items Receivable and Issuable Reports, you will see options to choose a Items Receivable and select the One party All items.
Step 5: Select correct party and specify the date range and open the report .
Step 6: Here you need to check the voucher entry and Look at the filters you've applied.
Step 7: Check that the filters are set up correctly to display the items from the selected party.

Can I use the mobile number instead of the party name to search for their details during voucher entry?

 Yes, you can use the mobile number to search for party details during voucher entry in BUSY for that follow these steps :
Step 1: Take backup of your company from company menu in backup data option
