Is it necessary for me to login with the main user in order to access certain features?
Yes, it is necessary to login with the main user in order to access certain features in BUSY . You can give rights to sub user for the features , follow the steps below:
Step 1: Login the company with super user login credentials.
Step 2: Go to administration section then click on user tab.
Step 3: Select modify tab then select required user.
Step 4: Now, enable options required in user then save
Why do some users have the option to modify while others do not in BUSY?
If some users are able to modify they have access rights to modify transactions but for others users dont have access rights to modify any transactions. To give modify rights to other users also, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Go to administration then users
Step 2 : Click on modify mode and go to menu rights then transaction and give modify rights and click on save button.
How can I add a new user with the same rights as an existing user?
To add new user with the same rights as an exisiting user, you need to follow these steps :
Step 1 : Click on administration then users
Step 2 : Click on modify mode and open existing user then press default shortcut functional key F12 and click on duplicate master.
Step 3 : Now change the new user name and password, it will create new user with same rights as an existing user.
Can you help me with logging in it is not showing for enter login credential?
If BUSY is not showing for enter login credential in company it means that user is not created yet but need to follow some steps for creation and these are:
Step 1: Go to the Administration menu and then click on User option.
Step 2: Now click on Modify option and enable User Authentication Required option and other option as per your requirement.
Step 3: Now close company and login it with user.
What is the meaning of the "hierarchy level" when adding a new user in BUSY? How do I choose which level to assign the new user?
Add user and set hierarchy level , please follow steps :
Step 2: Go to the Administration tab.
Step 3: Select on Users option and click on the Add button.
Step 4: Type the User Name, Password and Recheck Password for the new user.
Step 5: Assign the rights and permissions for the new user according to your needs and preferences.
Step 6: Click on the Save button to create the new user.
Why am I unable to add multiple login users in BUSY? It only shows single user license.
If you are using a single user license for BUSY Accounitng Software,you cannot use BUSY in license mode on another system, but you can create multiple users in your company,you can follow these steps:
Step 1:Go to Administration menu,
Step 2:Click users,
Step 3:Then here you can Add a multiple sub user and Provide the rights to the user so that they can perform various transactions in your company.

If you are not able to perform certain task in BUSY Accounting software, it could be because your user do not have the necessary rights . To give rights follow the steps below:
Step 1: Login company with main user

I am getting errors when trying to do backdated entries in BUSY. What is the solution?
getting errors when trying to do backdated entries in BUSY to allow backdated entries follow these steps
1. go to the users under administration option
2. select particular user to modify
3. there is option called restrict back date entries
4. enabled that option and select voucher type , series and back day's Allowed then save the configuration
5. after that relogin with user id and then entered back dated entry.
How do I add new employees to the system and set up their user profiles?
If you want to add new employees and setup their profiles then please follow
the given steps
Step 1: Go to administration menu.
Step 2: Then users then add then enter the user name and password.
Step 3: Set the right for the user by enabling and disabling the various option.
