The software is not showing the credit card charges I have entered. Why can't I see the credit card transactions?
BUSY does not have a direct link to your credit cards, so you cannot see the credit card transactions in the software. However, you can manually record the bank receipt and payment entries related to your credit cards in BUSY and view them in the reports. This will help you to track your credit card expenses and payments.
I want to transfer money between bank accounts in the software. How do I record this type of transaction?
To record a money transfer amount between bank accounts in the software, you can add a contra voucher, follow below steps for add contra voucher:
1. Go to the Transaction tab then click on the contra voucher type.
2. Add a contra voucher and mention voucher date.
3. Post accounting entry then save the voucher.
How can I make a credit note if a window for adjusting debit or credit notes pops up?
If you want to add Credit Note for received Discount in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Transactions menu.
Step 2: You can use Dr. Note(w/o Items) and Cr. Note(w/o Items).
Step 5: After selecting the voucher, click on Add and fill in the required details such as Date, voucher no., GST Nature, Original Voucher No.,etc.
I want to save invoice details for future use in BUSY. How can I do this?
If you want to save invoice details for future use in BUSY You Canuse the hold voucher option that will save the invoice details but invoice will not generate it can be generate in future if you again want to active it then again click on hold voucher option select restore voucher and select party name then ok
I'm having trouble entering my loan details into BUSY. Can you help walk me through it?
To enter your loan deatils in BUSY follow the steps
1 go to administration menu and click on master
2 click on account then click to add
3 Fill the Loan account name and select group as secured or unsecured or loan liability or
loans and advance assets as per your requirement fill the other details and save
Which date should I use for posting entries when the money is coming into our account?
You should use the date as voucher date in receipt voucher, when the money is actually received in your account for posting entries in BUSY for that follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to transactions select receipt
Step 2: Click on add now mention voucher date as when the money is actually received in your account and add voucher.

How do I change the caption of the Contra option in BUSY Accounting Software?
To change the vocher caption then you need to enable it from the General Tab.
Pls follow the below steps.
Step 1: Click on Administration
Step 2: Then Configurations
Step 3: Then Features and Options
Step 4: Then General
Step 5: Then enable the option change voucher type caption
Step 6: Click on Configuration tab then change the caption for required voucher and save it.
How to made receipt voucher against sales voucher in order to adjust party balance?
To made receipt voucher against sales to adjust the party balance, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to transaction section then click on receipt voucher.
Step 2: Select add tab then specify the voucher series, voucher number and date.
Step 3: Post receipt account entry and save the voucher.
Step 4: Now, Press alt+L to open party ledger to check party balance.
How do I link a manual payment voucher with an invoice?
To add and link payment voucher in BUSY please follow steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select the company you want to work with. Then, go to the Transactions tab and click on Payment.
Step 2: Click on Add and mention the neccessary details such as date, voucher no, and adjust the bill references of invoices and save the transaction.
