My accountant needs a copy of my company file. How do I send that to them?

You can send a copy of your company data to your accountant through backup option of BUSY.
1: Click on the Company menu (after closing the company)
2: Press Enter on Backup Data
3: Select Company and enter Company Username and Password
4: Then specify the path to save the backup file
5: You can then send the backup file to your accountant through mail.

Where is the option to restore backup and how to do it?

To restore data in BUSY follow these steps:
Step 1: Open BUSY and select "Restore Data" option from Company tab.
Step 2: Choose the folder that contains backup files and click on OK button to start the restoring process.
Step 3: If same data already exist in then BUSY will provide you an option to override it. You can chosse Yes/No as required.

Should I overwrite the company data while restoring backup file?

No, you should not overwrite the company data while restoring backup files in BUSY. Follow the below steps to restore BUSY backup:
Step 1: Open the BUSY then click on company menu.
Step 2: Select the restore data option then specify the backup path for restoration.
Step 3: Click on ok tab then select yes for data restoration and select No for overwrite.

I am unable to take backup from BUSY. What should i do?

If you are not able to take backup from BUSY, you need to follow these troubhleshooting steps:
Step 1: Make sure the you have enter correct username and password.
Step 2: The backup path you have specified is exist in your system's drive.
Step 3: Run BUSY as an administrator.
Step 4: Make sure you have full security rights on your backup folder.

Where are my BUSY files is saved How do I find them?

BUSY files is stored in BUSYwin folder which is located in your system drive in which BUSY is installed and your BUSY data is stored under BUSYwin with sub folder name DATA unless you change the data location manually in BUSY 
Note : You can also check your BUSY data location through set data directory option for BUSY

How can i restore the data backup in BUSY?

If you want to restore the data backup in BUSY please follow these steps:
Step 1: Open your BUSY software
Step 2: Then you will found a restore data option in company tab click on it
Step 3: Then select the path for restoration where your backup is stored
Step 4: Then click on ok button and proceed for restoration of your data

Exclude folders from backup in BUSY. How-to?

If you want to exclude folders from backup in BUSY, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to Administration and click on Configuration.
Step 2: Select Backup Configuration and here you can set the folder where want to take backup.
If you are using BUSY Agent then you can change the backup path under the Backup Configuration(Local).

I am unable to take a backup of my accounting software data. What steps should I follow to successfully back up data?

Please follow the below steps to take backup in BUSY:
Step 1: Close the company
Step 2: Press enter on backup data option from company menu
Step 3: Select company and enter the user name & password of a company
Step 4: Specify the data location on which location you want save the backup
Step 5: Select all FY and press ok to proceed

I Restored data from another system and some of the totals are wrong in BUSY now. What should I do?

As you restored data from another system and some of the total showing wrong you can do following things
Step 1 : first take backup again from that system again restore and check
Step 2 : And if you overwrite the data at the time of restoring then have to manually correct that balance if you find any

In BUSY, We can manually take company backup to the pendrive.
